Just changed my 3d settings to performance, now getting 9200 3dmark2005 and 21500 3dmark2003.
Now how do you overclock these things.

I take it you're using dual GTs?

If you switch to the 71.21 drivers you'll go over 10k in 05 and 22k in 03 easily.

What clocks are you running your GTs at? Mine will only go up to 385/1100 without artifacts :( It's a pity, as one card is rine up to 440/1180, whereas the other doesn't like anything above 385/1100. With SLI you have to run at the pace of the slowest of course...

They are running at ultra speeds 400-1100. On my Asus they would run 420-1120 easily. Am going to overlock them and cpu this afternoon. Running 66.93 drivers at the moment, dont normally like running betas. Might give them a go though.

Will I have any problems with this board and Geil Value RAM? Can't afford faster memory at the moment.

Damn, there doesn't seem to be any low profile chipset heatsinks out there :(

Edit: Will this be up to the job or do you think an active cooling solution is a must for this board?

Can't see you having any problems Ken, but if you do just follow the advice reagrding single stick to boot then flash to latest BIOS(asl inked).
It seems to have only affected 'some' TCCD so far though.

Here's my first real attempt at o/c the Ultra-D

Sorry about the size :o
This is with a watercooled FX55
Anyway, for some reason the OCZ PC3200 Rev2 seems to need a LOT of volts on this board. Won't even post properly > 270 HTT with less than 2.9 volts. Rather different to my Neo2 which would do it at 2.7 volts. But looking at XS and DFI forums other people have found the same. Hopefully a new BIOS soon (this is with beta 2.01)

Hi guy's
I should be getting my ultra-d and 3500 winnie today sometime
anyone see any problems using 2 sticks of 512 crucial pc3200 CT6464Z40B
thanks

surge, what watercooling system is that? :o very impressive

Hi

Its:
2 x Eheim 1048s in series
Black Ice Pro 2 with 1" shroud and 2 x Panaflo L1As at 9-12 volts
Swiftech 6000
Maze 4 GPU

About to mill a high-flo block for the NF4 chipset ;)

Should say that the screnshot was obviously taken when the CPU was no longer at max load. CPU temp during SuperPi was 40 deg C

Cheers :)

Nice 1 surge,

hhas anyone noticed slightly faster boot times with this (or any Nf4) compared to their NF3 ?
The more I crank up the HTT the quicker I seem to load windows, even if the CPU/mem are relativeley the same frequency.
Also , I did'nt realise, but I have been running 400HTT with a 4x HTT multiplier too.

Whats with all the power connectors on the board? I can understand the 24pin and 4pin connectors but whats with the 4pin molex and floppy type connector on the board too?
