I suppose its a problem of pub games, no one seems to want to counter or tackle them then they are melting your face off.

Won two single draft pubs earlier, one actually as sniper the other Nyx. Both good games, really enjoy Nyx.

Pretty much hit the nail on the head. You'll find an awful lot of the time in pub games people are just interested in playing their own game... forgetting that teamwork is kinda vital in a game like Dota 2.

Not ded gaem.

Well that was fun, tried to play but get booted out of the game every couple of minutes saying no steam logon disconnected from server. Dam bug got me an abandon :(

I can't wait to see how the pros are going to deal with this patch... Mid was always an important role, if not THE most important role, but it's just gotten that little bit more important. A lot of these changes give way to heroes being able to gank a lot... I can't wait to see how Dendi, Ferarri, Mu, Mushi and the like deal with these changes.

Could be awesome to watch!

Also waiting for Pudge + Blink = BITES GALORE!

Haha I have had NO good games tonight after this patch. Someone keeps abandoning at the start of every match.

However some good came of it. My team rage quit and I hung around and used them just for lols for the other team. Got 4 commendations for my troubles haha.

I would love to get good at Broodmother, such an unusual and exciting hero to play.

So much fun crawling all over the cliffs etc. Also played 2 games with QoP middle now and she is lots of fun to play. Would really love to get good with her. Find her attack animation a little strange but nothing some practise won't cure.

Also wondering if it's worth trying out Disruptor middle with his scepter buff.

Still not sure on Disruptor, personally. Aggy's is still a pretty big item to build, I'd be impressed if any support managed to get the farm necessary to build it really. Considering there's Mek, Wards, Mana Boots and Force Staff to concentrate on before you think about Aggy's.

You could potentially just rush it as your first item if you play Mid, but you have to ask if there's another hero available in your team who'd benefit from Mid better. Ideally, people go mid to benefit from the levels and the farm... Disruptor would pretty much benefit from the farm, but not necessarily the levels imo... well, not as much as any other mid hero would anyway.

Could be worth trying out though!

I watch a team do the push strategy I think it was Virtus.pro.Any ways they had Lycan,Punga and enchantress who all got necronomicon books and went on you kill... more like one hit the other teams towers.

I think the push strategy is back as you can no longer use helm of the dominator on necronomicon units. What can you do vs a team with 3-4 necron books?

Antipush strats I guess are your best options. Leshrac, Clockwerk, KotL, Tinker... even Furion can push lanes back, seeing as that's his job.

I'd say it'd be easy to get a half-decent anti-pushing team up and running. But it's all about what heroes are left over from the banning phase. Most decent teams would get rid of the aforementioned heroes if they were going to have a push based team. Still though... you can fight against it, it isn't impossible. And the beauty of the heroes I mentioned they could easily push as hard (especially Tinker/Furion) on enemy towers whilst your supports hung back and tried to counter push. Imagine a Furion pushing your lanes out whilst a Tinker and KotL defended. It'd be hard to not waste time by trying to decide whether it's worth defending against Furion or pushing into a hell of a lot of damage!

As per usual though, it all comes down to how good the person controlling the hero is. So I can say all day long that a KotL, Tinker and Furion mix would do well against them but if the players using them are useless... it's going to be another story :P

Push what not the issue in the match it was the speed in which they killed the towers.10-15mins in they were taking down towers in less than 20 secs with Punga blast and howl( it got a buff) from Lycan alone.Any ways Kotl/tinker would both get owned by nether-ward.

I like the new patch so far :)

Pulling off a double-ultimate as Skywrath Mage is awesome, now that the cooldown on his ult is 0. With 2 bloodstones, at level 25 he may be able to pull off triple or quad ultimate :S :) :)

Phantom Assassin is funny now that her dagger can crit. You use the dagger to slow someone down and suddenly the dagger crits and you did a ton of damage.

I lost 2 games last night without even taking a tower!

Makes me feel like I wasted the little time I have to play games :P

Sucks when it goes that way!

I actually had the opposite... I tend to never play without my team, but they were all off elsewhere last night. Popped into two games and was pleasantly surprised by the teamwork and communication... We stomped :D

Lost a 70 min game last night, was pretty funny we got to their mid rax in 20 mins and didn't kill it for the next 50. Love those tense games although the loss was fairly inevitable

I watched the replay, you had this terrible, terrible Death Prophet on the team. The Lina seemed pretty okay though.
