*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

Successful weekend upon a return to solo mmr, hadn't done solo in aggggges but managed to get 6 wins and 1 loss, along with a decent variation of picks. Think my razor play needs a bit of work though lol

Including non-ranked....8 :| had that twice!

...and that was back when i played nothing by parties and never touched solo games ranked or unranked. meh.
 
Just had the most enjoyable game of dota I have ever played with gord and huggie off here and some of buggies mates.

Opposition went heavy stun team with Sven, WD, Shaker, SB and Venge.

We had a terrible start I lanes (as troll) with Omni and a tri lane was level 5 and we were only level 2 as they just pinned us in with stun. Shielding Sven for free farm at the same time. Looked like being a nasty loss but we recovered and won most team fights thanks to some amazing Omni ult combined with equally amazing Black Holes from Gords enigma.

Such a good game and to actually win it was amazing.

Frustrating game for myself as troll going 0/2/14 but we won and I would like to think my ult timing helped in that :p

Thanks again Huggie, another two great games under the belt tonight!
 
My games were a lot less eventful. I use shadow shaman ultimate - the French surrender. I use refresher and another ultimate - throne is down. 3 games running. Had a failed one with gyrocopter in between of these.
 
BTW I recently received some mythical item in the chest that gets usable every several levels and sold it for over £1 reching over £7 in steam credit. Pity there's not one game worth spending money on.

Was a great evening! Unfortunately I'm not on tonight, but I should be about tomorrow.

I've been practicing Lifestealer a lot today, really starting to enjoy him. So much fun when I'm infested inside someone who gets pudge hooked then I'm like surprise! The Russian pudge was raging so hard.
 
Nice game of dota with the URD lads and gord tonight, love it when the entire enemy team picks squishys and i get viper :D pew pew pew dead, pew pew pew dead :p easy wins!

Hes one of my top 10, havent played him in ages though :p thing is he fits into so many lineups.

I know someone who plays literally nothing but viper and witch doctor, with the odd game of sniper thrown in...you look at his dotabuff and the only time the characters deviate from those 3 are ability draft games lol

EDIT: speaking of ability draft, me and almost had a highly frustrating game yesterday...i managed to get tidebringer on natures propher, was doing soooooo much damage by the end but we lost because our slardar was an idiot with chrono.
 
You can't get frustrated at ability draft it is literally the mode to **** around on. Last time I played it I picked QoP Blink, Surge, Timewalk and Rearm on Tinker. It was pretty hilarious how quickly I moved across the map. I also bought Blink dagger, MoM, Force Staff, Phase Boots.
