Not sure what exactly (if anything) made this happen in the last patch but I have found since it's gone live almost all games are a lot closer and had 4 base races in a week and half as opposed to 1 in the four month prior.

Seem to be less stomps, though you still sometimes see them, and much more closely contested games that go back and forth throughout. Really enjoying it more at the mo though I still have some horrific games that make me want to cry :p

Anyone else noticed a change or have I just had a good run?
 
Yeah, that was pretty much the change. it seems They toned it down with 6.82b but there is still a slight rubber band mechanic that helps games stay close by providing you with more gold and xp if you kill heroes that are higher level and/or have more net worth than you.

I've seen dozens of games where Black has made 0 impact. Black had a great LAN, what does it mean in the grand scheme of things? Diddly squat.

There will be more to come from Secret. KKY is a great carry

Well it's worked. I don't mind (as much) losing a close game if it's been a good contest it's the stomps that ruin the experience.i don't think a lot of people recognise the potential to turn around yet (I didn't for a bit) as there still seems a lot who scream GG yet sticking with it it swings round quite a bit.

Glad they did it.

Black is very very good. He will do extremely well on VG as he is finally on a team where he can rely on his team mates to give him space to do what he needs to do. He has also improved massively over the past year, expanding his hero pool and play style.

However Kuroky has potential to be the best carry in the world again.
 
On a 5 game streak and 7 of the last 8 all as Lina. Love the hero and not sure why I never got into the hero earlier, especially amusing late gank when you get aghs and melt someone through their BKB :D

Never play her as main support, wasted in that role so had a few in game arguements over that one but played as second support/nuker really effective hero.

Lina should be played as a carry or mid, not a support.

The amazing thing is, they didn't turn up in lane for a little bit (I assumed LD, Doom and Lifestealer were arguing over who got the jungle...) Then it turns out none of them went in the jungle! They just did 2-1-2 :D
 
I had one of those games today which dragged out for so long that it became difficult for either side to finish. I was very farmed and had a few kills and so was our alchemist but due to us having no barracks it was very hard to push. There Natures prophet was very good with his top and bot lane pressure. We could have won it quite a few times but something or the other didn't happen.

I only died once due to always managing to shadow blade out of tough situations how ever there were a few times at the end where it was super close lol.

I love it when your other team mates do everything in there power to save you and each other! Its great! I was playing pudge just now and rubick saves me but when that turns out to maybe be not enough TB comes and uls me aswell! I couldnt leave a brother hanging so I hooked him out of there and we turned a fight that could have been horrible into a good one.



Sometimes you get matched with really cool peoples and others you get matched with Vladimir from Russia who does not speak your language and him and his friends hate you .
