What? I can't think of any other items he needs. Sure there are some ridiculous stomp items that are useful and then there are utility items that are always useful but he doesn't need them at any point really.
 
Hate playing ES hard support, he can do it but he's much better as a second support, find getting the gold on him as main support gimps him, especially in a close game.
 
Grabbed the PA arcana, and suddenly every game I play is full of teamwork! Protect the PA, make sure she gets enough farm, all gank the contract target then work together to win.
This may possibly be the best DotA2 patch ever!

I absolutely hate it, every game a PA.... Boring the living hell out of me.

Is it the first time since the beginning of Dota 2 that Pudge isn't the most played hero?

I bought the Arcana but it feels so dirty at the moment to actually pick PA because she is literally in every game of Allpick. There is such hostility even from teammates if she is picked I will wait for it to cool off.
 
Had one of my best games in months, one of my best Dota games ever. Played LD, it wasp close back and forth game and I controlled the map when I got radiance as bear and helped win some insanely close fights getting stuck in.

Got to the end and had an abandon because I was in base so much as I controlled the bear :rolleyes: :( really gutted, anything I can do about it to get it changed into a win?:( obviously didn't abandon as I got 3 commends and 3 friend requests after the game :p

Unfortunately yes, he was out of range so couldn't attack with him.

@ shami, I stayed safe and controlled the lanes for the team. If they got slack I would use boots of travel to dive in and get racks/towers/gank but in the main I was controlling lanes and then diving on team fights to defend as we had 2 t3s down.

If you really really wanted to play safe you could have got blink and blinked into trees and still have been close enough for bear to right click. Pushing with bear just with radiance is fine if you want to push the lane so they couldn't Bots in and take racks but you should still be doing something with Druid.

Personally radiance on bear for me is a luxury item. I prefer to man up with bear and druid and fight but I do understand that druid is quite easy to take down and can make it a bit scary when the team ignores bear and goes for you. But that's why you hope for entangles and for the dps damage of the bear to kill them before they kill you.

But you enjoyed the game right. Just be aware that you got the abandon unfortunately because you weren't playing efficiently and other than change how you play with that hero it's not something that can be changed.

Someone with skill will probably be able to chime in probably. I have only recently started to play LD again but I do enjoy micro heroes.
 
Why didn't you just farm the jungle?

Even then just running the bear between lanes radiance burning them really is the last thing you want to resort to doing. Once you get radiance on Lone Druid around 18 minutes you should be going 5 man push because towers and heroes just die at that point.

Oh well, I'll take it on the chin, just a bit gutted after such a great game and getting commands for it. When I did get out of the base I was hugely effective but guess I was overly cautious.

I'm not an experienced LD, was only playing him for the hero challenge so couldn't say if radiance is generally luxury but in that game the item won the game thanks to keeping lanes out and set me up nicely for boot ganks taking 2 towers and 3 sets of racks.

Re jungle, we didn't have the best support and they were continually warding and ganking if we got far out of base so wasn't worth the risk.
 
Nah I'm watching the game and you bought a radiance and at 34 minutes then just stood at your t4s letting your bear kill camps while the rest of your team was at t1 middle.

Your team is having a teamfight and you are just afk at t4 running your bear around trying to radiance burn them.

Yeah after watching more of this you are the clearly the reason this game was so difficult. You aren't helping your team at all.
