I got put in the punishment pool for abandoning a game, working on my all hero and thought OD would have been in my least played but he wasn't so I quit and got low priority :p

Thought I was in for torture but to be honest I've had two of my best ganes in months, both teams were really pleasant, operating voice comms and teamwork was fantastic.

First as Centuar we dominated, had a great lane with Skywrath with puck roam ganking and apart from Puck last kill stealing it was a really good game. Second game got a harsh draft or Ursa/BH/Riki/SB and PL good for carry but a ***** for farm and laning. I was BH and again really nice team, really friendly, good comms and ME and riki played roam gank all game and we won, was hard pushing the t3 as they turtled but we had good organisation and won.

Seems low priority could be the place to be :p

13 heroes through my challenge now, took me 24 games and average is 30 so doing pretty well. OD now then Sniper next.

We had troll/dusa/rana/jugg (terrible player) and phoenix v bristle/CM/necro/luna and bane.

We were horrific, was about 17/2 down after 10mins I was troll and their bristle was amazing, I was 0/7 by 10mins and I am good with Troll :p

By about 25mins we were 37/4 down, was horrendous, then they got dumb, silly solo pushes, let the pressure off and we turtled and jungle ran with dusa/troll. We lost K/D 35/47 but myself and Dusa snowballed and every time they base pushed again we had fantastic teamwork (go low priority) and wiped them taking a few towers at a time, it ended when we team wiped them, got Rosh but they had BB to try and stop us Roshing, we wiped them again and marched middle to win on another teamfight :D

One of the best game I have ever played to come back from so far, again low priority the teamwork was brilliant and not the negative nerdraging you see in ranked. Good stuff! :D

Just finished my first All Hero Challenge run at the end of last week.
208 games in total, which seems ok for 110 heroes, less than 2 games per hero average. Although I had a few that took 8 games and a few more that took 5 games, so I must've done a lot in 1 game to get that average.

Currently going through a tough losing patch. Not sure if it's worse when you play well and the team loses because of others or if it's worse when you lose and you also have a nightmare game.
Probably worse when you play badly, partly because of the abuse you get, but partly because I like to believe I'm not that bad. And that goes for the games we win when I play badly too!

Cleared 2 more, got Lina in 2, second game went 11/0/13 and got Sven in 1 going 14/4/13 (or thereabouts) we had decent carries in the Sven game so ended up more tanky with 2 hearts and had just shy of 5k health, Techies was mining up their base but I was just strolling into them and only losing 50-60% health :p

Visage next which I am not particularly looking forward too as I have never really liked the hero.

20 done in 33 games (which is apparently 9.5 games better than average) got Tiny and Undying in one. Got Tide next which I'm really not looking forward too, hate the hero, then Puck who I haven't played in an age.

My 2nd up hero for all challenge was puck, and I suck at last hitting and don't like button pressing micro managing heroes, so I gave up on all challenge :P I mostly play supports because I find farming carries really boring to play. Lately I have been playing a fair bit of IO, who is weird but super fun. Drums and tranquil boots early, 1 point in tether, 1 in overcharge (purely to cause a loss in health to trigger regen), max spirits, ult and stats. Run around the map like a little battery charging up your team and smashing orbs into enemy faces. So much fun.

Yeah it's stupid good. Once you get Euls and Blink you can stun someone from like 2000 range and keep them controlled almost permanently. If you can get past the tough first 10/15 mins (assuming you are playing solo offlane) then the rest of the game is pretty easy.

We paired him with Pa last night and once they were stunned they just got blew up. He's also fun with jakiro and sven.

Me and my friend lost 200 MMR in a week and since then, we have been stuck in a cycle of winning a game, losing a game, rinse repeat for the last 18 games!

We joked it wouldn't matter what hero we picked as it was already decided how the outcome would be, he picked pudge went mid and ended the game on 0-11 or something silly, we still won though lol.

Now I know it isn't this way and this is some fluke, but sometimes I do feel like if the game wants you to lose it gives you a team built to lose and the same for winning.

I felt like that in MMR for ages, win a few/lose a few but stuck in the same win/loss bracket. I've managed to go from +5 w/l to +19 w/l just playing normal and I've stayed 17-20 range for a fair while now. Not that I'm advocating no mmr play (though that's what I've decided to do) I just find the game more chilled and people more friendly/willing to co-operate in normal for whatever reason. Might just be blind luck but I'm actually enjoying the game a fair bit at the moment whereas on my mmr quest I was always stressed with the game, which isn't what you want on a game! :p

Would a MEK not be 100 times better than the drums?

I tried Stungun Morphling, as OP as it looks and really fun to play, my one complaint is that it doesn't suit pubs too well where co-ordination isn't too good and people don't react to the stun which happened a lot. Tempted when pubbing to combine the build with a Dagon and Refresher and that will let you gank to death pretty much anything bar a hefty tank and give you a lot of survivability too. With a proper team the build will be hugely OP and be interesting to see if it is used in tournies more.

Playing stun you should never have enough farm to build a dagon and refresher. If you do you would probably have been better spending that gold on carry items and being a bigger asset to endgame. Dagon ganks become a rarity in endgame in my experience.

Quite a few people have used it already. Iceiceice has done it a few times as has Yoky I believe. It's been pretty effective.

Last game I saw it in was GOL vs Flipsid3 where they combined it with a tiny/wisp. Morph found someone on the map stunned them and relocate in for death with the Tiny.

Got a game ID? Would like to see that in action :D

I've got Puck in all hero now, forgot how bad I was with Puck :p
