So I really LOVE playing Alchemist despite the fact people think he is "****" at the moment and I can play him really well. One thing I know will happen after the patch which I dislike is that the day after they patch im going to go into games and people are going to expect me to farm them aghs from minute one.

Alch suffered in this patch because one of the main strengths of the hero (farming quicker) is actually a huge negative in the 6.83 meta.

Also people buy stupid items, the number of times I've seen people go BF + Midas....argh. If you go for a mid game fighting build he can still be good, I still like Alch support as well.

I really don't like the BF builds... It such an expensive item.. you could have a armlet+midas+boots for similar gold and be able to manfight specially with the armlet and ulti up. I've personally tried quite a few builds, I know that it can take some time for him to come into his own but if you play him well in safe and you get a 3/4min midas followed by a Armlet/maelstrom you can safely get into team fights and do some really good damage specially with acid down. Items after that are situational like a bkb etc, but what I always tend to go for after that is a basher from that point on I tend to **** on most carries and carry on farming pushing lanes.

Once he has a Mjolnir/AC/bkb, he can push towers and destroy carries like they dont exist. So yeah he can be relatively weak early game compared to current carries but if you farm extremely well ( not hard ) then you can come into your own pretty early on. With the runes giving 4x gold bonus after patch it would be pretty viable for him to mid and if he gets those runes he can get those early items extremely fast.

I remember the other day going into a game and someones instantly commented about how it isnt patch day yet :\ people are to obsessed by the "meta".

Hey Shami, this is my first alche game since the patch.
The bounty runes allow him to get items extremely fast, despite morpling disconecting and not being able to get any farm (internet problems) me going mid and being allowed access to bounty runes plus ability to farm. ( getting a 2 minute midas via bounty runes is brilliant ). Will play more games to see if its not just a one off lol. I am guessing this will be great in pub/low mmr/med mmr games but high mmr games no idea lol im no pro.

I think I offended the dota gods for not playing for a week and daring to go away for work.

Since returning my 3 games have been a marvellous combo of a 2 support game, both of whom refused to support, a carry game where both carries admitted they had never played the hero and got stomped and just now the final touches are being put toa game 13/0 down by 11mins with 2 junglers, no mid and no support, with a LS who bought Morbid Mask :D:D:D:D:D

Oh how I hate dota at times :p
 
Centaur is my favourite class, and I was concerned that I'd never be able to play him again with the buffs. Thankfully that hasn't happened so far - the buffs are nice, he is able to get more health now thanks to the Aghs (about 4.6k health at level 25) and his damage has gone up considerably.

Heart of Tarasque is also much nicer now, with a percentage health increase. It was always a bit slow on high health heroes I found.

Not so keen on all the invisibility now though. Everyone seems to have items which give them invisibility, which is a bit frustrating when you don't have any slots free for dust.

Just had a game of Ability Draft xD - Did not think we would win with the enemy teams abilities, also didnt realise I would get so strong even with alches ult.

Just a clip of me doing rosh in 6 seconds lol.

Only one I wanted was Gold Luna! Upgraded to level 100 compendium just to get it and NOPE!

Got all of them apart from Gold Luna. Feel like a drug addict right now.:mad::mad::rolleyes:

I got golden luna and nether ward immortal. It has a custom effect for beams as well. you could always go on a trade site and get one, they're gift wrappable.
