MFF v 81 was a good game, much slower than most games so far and 81 could have taken it. Great farm from ember though and singsing on Dark Seer was damn good!

Has meepo been buffed recently?
Just getting Meepo players feed horrendously in ranked matches, It's sending me white.
3 people abandon my games today or feed horrendously in ranked, and apparently it's reflective of my abilites on dota #mmrsucks

I'm having a torrid time as well at the mo, went from +21 wins to +4. I don't understand the mindset of people who do dumb **** that chucks the game early. 4 of last 5 games my team has been down by 15-20 kills in the first 20mins it's insane.
Last game I went elder Titan for my all hero, not the best with him but solid for a support, i picked first then my team picked 3 farm dependent, late game melee carries to follow up. I was 1/1 by 25mins. Slark 1/9 Alch 0/14 WK 1/7 and Zeus 1/12. What's the point? I'm not pro but there's no way people like that can be in the same skill bracket as me, the Zeus was dying every minute or so to the Pudge.

This game, you need to expect a certain level of ability with the people you play with, and I'm just not getting it.. Ever (maybe 1/10 matches).
Just had a gyro game where we had a dazzle without shallowgrave until level 9 i think. No wards, ground chick etc.
I really still think MMR isn't reflective of your abilities in this game, I've had matches where the enemy has gone afk in a ranked game and my mmr has downed.
I play with others who are 3-4k and always manage to play the role (most of the time :O).

On the balance I still believe mmr works but I think it's more of a broad stroke (gets you in a tough area of where you could be but not precise) but I would be fascinated to see how exactly they calculate it. Be really interesting reading.

4th person to abandon on my team in the first 5 minutes today, lost all 4, still don't see how mmr is balanced. I could go on,
1st match we had no wards, courier for 15 minutes, both supports took carry farm and then raged in the fountain
2nd match windrunner abandoned after claiming she wanted mid and then fed the courier etc
3rd just went afk "Sorry guys really important I have to go", in a ranked match...
4th Abaddon goes afk at fountain after a reconnect.
Not seeing all this bullcrap about mmr is a fair representation, because believe me, it isn't.
If it didn't annoy me being in the low 2k bracket I'd just quit it, but it does..

I just had a game where someone on my team went meepo. He was lvl 22 when I was level 10... he went 37 out of our 55 kills... single handedly won the game from start. Definitely an alt account 
I honestly don't mind at all about "bad" players, everyone makes mistakes and everyone has bad days. Last night i was playing poorly, it happens.
But yea a basic level of competence would be nice sometimes!
I can handle people playing poorly! I have my moments (I had a really bad disruptor one the other day
).It's when people die at the rune and then proceed to feed because they think the match is over, or cry constantly because their situation isn't ideal, so fountain sit.
I've been playing Legion recently, and as soon as I get my blink, I can realistically bring a game back, done it a few times, but the people I get grouped with give up and feed the courier etc, and in a ranked game, it's just not on.
I was at just below 2000, roughly sitting at 2250 at the minute as I'm basically just carrying, it's these abandon games that are keeping me in the cesspit.

As you chaps say above all o want is a basic competence and non toxic players, but it feels like I'm asking too much
Played one last night, playing SS we had a slow start, slightly behind then our QoP goes lunatic. Starts abusing me for being **** because he had been ganged 5 times (he hadn't been ganked he just kept diving a WK/Lion lake combo and couldn't grasp a double stun and poly will do for s low hp hero) then he wouldn't leave the base and when he did he just teleported in to feed. His own incompetence was everyone else's fault, myself the Naga and Dazz were trying our hardest but stood no chance.
I'm assuming he was an angry hormonal teen but why do I have to put up with his **** ruining my game time?

I am getting quite annoyed with all the dcs in the new reborn client. 9 times out of 10 I don't blame the person as I know from personal experience that the game will just kick you out for no reason and won't let you reconnect. Only way I have found is to end dota as a task and then open again. Sometimes it let's me in....sometimes not. It is silly that they don't have the basics working and yet forced us all to switch over.

Yeah the reborn client has messed up quite a few games recently, i cant remember when I had a game where somebody didn't DC or fail to load in.

I hate the reborn client (as you may have gussed from previous posts) it was sold as an upgrade making the game beter, giving you more data to use for your games. Instead it is a poorly set out, glitchy mess. Armoury is worst for me, just a sales page where it is awkward (at best) to view your own stuff but "ooh, why don't you buy all these kits!?!?"
Yes, Treads then straight up blink dagger. seems to work well if I have an invoker on the team.

It's not that great in general, Legion jungle is fairly slow and leaves your other lanes very weak. If you have a weak jungler like Legion then generally the enemy carry is getting freefarm and the enemy offlaner is not being harassed out of XP range so he is getting good levels. Legion is best played as either a solo offlaner or ideally an aggressive dual lane. Pair her with a wisp or KOTL and she can do serious work in that lane.

getting seriously hacked off with this now, just failed to load into 5 games in a row. Get the pop up, your game is ready, hit accept, and it just sits there saying connecting, eventually the option to reconnect pops up telling me that leaving the game will have negative consequences, but it never loads.
Eventually it times out and I can search again with no penalty, but never actually connects to anything.
Stuff paying for anything in this game until it is fixed tbh.
