Heard them saying on the ireLAN stream that SF can now deny Techies bombs (using quelling blade) and build up his souls to get bonus damage.
And I mean deny as it works when they're on the same team, so can be done in the fountain.
 
Man I hate the MMR system in this game so much, just got utterly destroyed by a 5 stack, where their least experienced players had 3x the number of hours of our most experienced player...

What part of 5 stack vs 3 stack with 2 random players seems fair to me...
 
I do hate it when you solo queue and end up in a game with a 2/3/4/5 stack. Solo queue should mean everyone is solo. Or at least there should be an option you can tick to choose to join games with stacks in.

I heard about this, it'll get hot fixed pretty fast or it's a huge abuse :p

How are people finding techies this patch with a bit of play? Personally I don find the reduced dmg/non dmg kill offsets the unlimited mines, at least in pugs. I'm sure in pro/teams it's easier to deal with but in pugs especially in the trench where people rarely ward/don't know how too unlimited mines is tragic at times :p

Still I've had some amazing games this patch so far with some damn good teamwork, I find east Coast US much better For teamwork.

Got Shadow Demon on my all hero now who I love playing, few more decent heroes then Pugna, Elder Titan and Io in a row all of whom I never play so that should be a painful little stretch :D
 
Yeah been some good games. Interesting watching everyone play with new strats. EG haven't played in months so I'm not surprised they're a little rusty.
 
I think they'll be just fine. Arteezy is probably the best carry in the world, Universe is definitely the best offlaner in the world, PPD is a world class captain, Sumail usually wins mid. Fear may be moving to a new role but he has one of the widest hero pools in dota, then they've got Zai on the bench! I'd still put them as firm favourites for the upcoming major.
 
I'm loving scepter on Undying. Put him against some people with low Base strength and they just explode. It's wonderful. Antimage blinked in on me, I stole 10str from him. Punched him in the face once and he was dead.
 
Really wish they hadn't forced us onto Reborn. The client is a half built mess, matchmaking seems all over the place since (the amount of stupid easy win/loss games has gone through the roof) constant d/c's and lag issues, really frustrating playing the game at the moment.

Amen to that, not a single game over the past few days where somebody hasn't DCed or failed to load in the first place.

The matchmaking has always been a bit rubbish, but really dose seem even worse than usual at the minute.
 
I'm having issues with the game responding to clicks. Since the update I have far too many instances of my unit moving unpredictably or not attacking when I'm convinced I've clicked correctly. It just doesn't feel right and I dunno why.
 
I've had the same but I just thought it was me as well :p

I just hate reborn, blame reborn it's broken and ****, even last night during the live games it cancelled the stream to run an update :p nearly missed the end of the match and had to channel hop to find it. Shambles.
 
15 mins I've been trying to connect. Clicked Accept 4 times now. Every time someone fails to make it through. How annoying.
