*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

After playing hours most days without fail, I have only played 1 game since 7.00 so over 2 months...as I found it terrible.

Might slowly get back into it if we can get a 5 man team going.

Feel free to add and I'll start adding usernames as they appear on here, be good to have an OcUK group to play with during the week even if it's just a couple of us online, makes 5 v 5 better when you're with at least one person

Had so many toxic players in games lately. One last picked slark vs a bloodseeker and slardar then proceeded to die 13 times in 20 minutes. Today I had an AA in Lane with me. He competed for my last hits (I was doom) then didn't buy one ward the entire game.

I definitely need a decent 5 man stack of dependable people to game with.

Played my first game in a year the other day. Our Jaquiro threw a hissy fit because he wasn't going to complete what ever quest he was doing after about 20 minutes and them when he saw the 4 of us about to win 40 mins later he started playing again. :p
 
I wish the russians (or eastern european of some description) could be barred from west servers based on IP.

Three games, all with teams of Russians/EE's first one was over in 20mins when one of them fed 10 kills to their Razor and he snowballed and it was finished by 24mins, second the Luna died 3 times in 3mins, spammed somethng Russian in caps and rage quit, next game Tiny fed about 4 deaths in 8mins, screamed abuse in voice comms in Russian and left.

40mins and I have 3 losses against me, just lock them into their own poisonous own region.
 
Anyone tried Siltbreaker yet then? It's hella hard! Got destroyed by the ogres a few times, then the ogre boss, then the spider boss. My best run I got to the desert with the arrow ******* and died.

They actually did something like this but reverted it days later; I've pretty much given up dota now as the community is just vile, especially the Russians.

I previously enjoyed the TI compendium but this year seemed like rubbish value and I wasn't going to be playing enough to complete the quests anyway.

I'm still playing but I only play single draft as I get marginally less annoyed in that mode.

still the same Russian scumbags though. Yesterday I had 2 losses in just over 30mins the first being an AA after dying once cried GG and freed from then on. The second after my first pick of Faceless the team picked Brood, Ursa, Spark and Bristle. Unsurprisingly we got pummelled.

Last game with a couple of Brits we had a good game, decent enough comms, solid teamwork and in the end a good win.

As I've said in the past I've no objection to losing What I object to though is muppets who either throw or cannot do the bare minimum.
 
So TI7 is over. Wasn't as exciting as TI6 but watching the pros play I find is always fun.

Liquid smashed Newbee 3-0 in the grand final last night just about managed to stay awake to watch all of it.
