*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

I experienced this, but this was when I first started the game. You get loads of newbies and people who don't actually care if they get abandons.

I think I missed this as I started playing when only like 10k online per day, now all the new people in their masses dont give a turd, guess u just gotta trawl thriugh it

I play every night quite new about 60-70 matches, interested in a few smirms and more importantly I wanna get a UK team together in the very near future, add me.

Steam name is featherzthe2nd or my current alias is Ironcast.

Anyone playing regularly every night joining up for some games on raidcall and potentially get a team going?

I could certainly be tempted, 500 odd games, played been in Beta since it was like 500 concurrent players :) I'll add you on Steam tonight.

I'm on pretty much every morning until 2ish then back on at 11pm-3/4am I usually play 4-5 games a day,

I'm sick of getting matched with russians so please add me of you want to play and speak English,

Just started playing DOTA 2 in the last 2 weeks and its amazing! I never understood the fuss of it before, I watched a video and saw the adverts but didn't think it was a game for me... until now!

Favourites so far;

Night Stalker for the things that go gank in the night.
Lich for his big frozen ball.
Tide.

I'll get the ocuk guild up tomorrow, should be easier to see numbers there rather than ocuk chat

Utnac I'm away atm I'll accept you tomorrow night

I'm been hooked on Dota2 for the past month, and I'm on most nights from 10pm onwards for a few games. Steam ID is my forum name if anyone ever wants to hook up..

Managed to master Spirit Breaker, very strong early game, as long as farming goes well extremely fast and powerful.

He's ridiculous in pubs who don't warn others of the incoming charge. Everything going through BKB is a bit of a weird change too although his late game is average and his mana pool pretty low so he can be dealt with by quite a few tactics.

What really is a huge pain to deal with in pubs who let him get a kill or two is the Flavour of the Month (tm) setup of Charge > Nether > Dagon. God damn this build. If it gets to late game it's useless but so many teams crumble under it if you get up to D5 in under 25 mins.

In true ultra annoyance mode I have started picking weaver up although lord help me if they counterpick silencer :(

Anyone know why i keep getting kicked out of dota when setting up bot matches?

Please add me steam user: fantasticcg me and a friend are looking for 2-3 more people to make a team so we can practice together, play matches and have fun.
Also headsets so much better if we can all talk :D

I keep having the most terrible games as Alchemist. Occasionally I can do amazingly if I can manage to get my last hitting right, but otherwise I just end up so terribly.

KotL is currently my favourite hero to play, grab a veil of discord, hit your ulti and throw down the veil before your illuminate finishes channeling and you do insane damage :D

Alc is pretty useless unless you can rice pretty well at the start of the game, so yeah if you're last hitting is off it can be pretty awful.
