I have probably a stupid question. But what do you do if your a furion(natures prophet) and theirs a lifestealer on the radiant side on the top lane screaming for help(I mean really incessantly from lvl 1 and up)?

Maybe I should have helped, but I didnt see what I could do, all I have is the treants, and if I did go then I would be delaying my farm and we would be duel laning and both be getting less farm and gold. As it happens everyone left the game.

Lifestealer shouldn't be solo top radiant really. Who was bottom lane?!

If you really did want to help then you could TP up there just to harrass the enemy out of lane. You'd lose out too, but your hard carry would get the gold he needs. You can always TP back to fountain for free too.

And that's a lot of new heroes for CM..

It was Tiny and Earthshaker on the bottom lane and the Lifestealer was against Phantom Guardian I think and IO.

Your right I could have just set my trees after them, chase them for a bit. I was too obsessed with figuring out how to jungle.

LS jungle and NP solo top.

NP is one if not the best solo laner in game.

Or you can just leave LS in top and then harass/jungle in dire jungle on NP.

Who was your mid? And who was they againest? depending on the line up LS can go mid.

Any suggestions of who to play for a newbie? I have played Tide Hunter, Crystal Maiden and Abadon to varying degrees of success, I have also played the HON equivalent of Bristle Back but have yet to try him on DOTA.

What role do you enjoy playing? By those heroes I'm guessing support?

I think supports are harder than carry's. More things to do and focus on.

I'm just randomning every match, there's no need to stick to what people tell you, just try them all and see which ones stick.

I found out I dont like Shadow Fiend.

Really? I'd always recommend people new to the game try support heroes first as its way easier/less to do and you aren't relied on to win the game. Where as a carry you always have a lot of pressure on you.

Depends what type of support you're playing. Crystal Maiden really is a newbie support hero, in terms of she's fairly easy to play (besides ultimate positioning).

However, Enigma & AA are fairly harder to play.

I've landed some corking Ice Blast's in the last couple of games that've initiated teamfights, however, if you miss the chance, it's pretty worthless.

I've found it just depends on the hero, rather than the class.

edit - Also, keeping on top of warding, buying support items, knowing when to use your abilities. Then I'd definitely say it was hero dependant in terms of skill level required.

Agree, carry is much harder imo. **** up and get behind and you lose the game, **** up and get behind as the support and you can just ward and stun and still be useful.

I'm thinking with a support its harder because you do have to ward and know where the wards go and when to stun and not feed and do all those other things.

With a carry its just straitforward last hit farm and gank enemy as much as possible. Most people can understand that. Its right click to kill.

lol, once you learn the ward spots which should be like 3 games max or a quick look at a guide its easy. Carries have stuns too, need to know when to stun, when not to stun because it may stack with the supports, and not to feed? everyone needs to not feed.

Carry you need to find your farm then you need to farm it correctly meanwhile watch for ganks and if possible do some ganking yourself and you must win the game for the team makes you the most important one role.Support all you got to do is buy wards/de-ward do some ganking easy.If do the above and still lose the game you can always blame the carry :D
