*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

We'll give it a go for Saturday at 6pm then. Will make a list of everyone who's interested later.

On another note, let's never play reverse captains mode again.

I don't know, I think it would be good to have at least one game a night where Myshra is on a team with a noob playing Morphling :D

"Just go to the fountain and use your abilities until you know how to use them"

"You've got no mana, and you're full strength, you have half the base damage of me, so now you're useless"

This game can be kind of stressful sometimes, people taking this really seriously. If your playing with noobs your not likely to win so if dont like losing dont play with noobs.

I think the vets should play carries or whatever characters they want.

Next time Shami is playing as Morphling.

It would maybe be a good idea to play more than 1 game with a hero. For example last night my random pick was disruptor. Pretty cool hero but I made so many mistakes throughout the match. Probably caused Murray to get ganked twice due to fumbling with his spells.

We got a 5 man game vs a pub after so I went Disruptor again, was a little more comfortable with the hero.

Anyway my point is any first game with a new hero is going to be very difficult, especially when 3 or 4 of us are still learning other basics of MOBAs. Perhaps have 10 heroes selected that are balanced to face each other, then play that same hero multiple times.

We can always switch the lanes up so it is a little different each time.

Don't worry about it Calabi, I was just as bad too when I played Morphling, he's a tough hero for noobs.

If we switch up the lanes, how will me and Shami lane together? You know what they say; Those who lane together, get the blame together.

There were more than this but this guy just could not hook me:

Only threw it together very quickly to show a friend I play dota with and went with the first few, I think by the end of the match I'd doubled those evades.

I do enjoy playing puck :-)

I love Puck, amazing character, but a bit too hard for me right now.

When I get better will be playing Puck as one of my main characters.

For those of you who know Seagull & [R]us.Allstar, I'm sure they'd be down for teaching some of you new players.

Rbeezay who's my cousin has played with us before - I'll ask him if he wants to give some pointers although I think Purdy banned him from the guild for reasons unknown.

We're all competent players seeing as we've been playing on and off for a good 8 years.

We should all be on Mumble over the weekend :)

I'm pretty good at puck tbh. It's my favourite char, can avoid most things. I enjoy avoiding Chen pudge send home hooks especially.

I love puck, but I either mess him up early on by getting silly items or steamroll on him.

well, I tend to buy silly items most of the time :D.

Good games tonight, especially 293006954. Probably the most even inhouse yet, could have gone either way right until the end.

Think a lot of people found Myshra switching teams coaching to be very helpful too.
