It's more frustrating playing with noobs, playing a game when nobody wards, or supports try and get last hits. I even had a game where two carries insisted on laning together leaving two supports laning together

You can toggle armlet quick enough with your fingers, a script isn't really improving it much when dots tick so slowly in dota.

Yes you are right you can just shift queue double tapping armlet to get the same effect as the script (even tho it's a lot harder to press three buttons then one) that players are using, but it's op and need the item need to be nerfed

0.03 sec switch and you get 475 HP

Last 10 games I played with CAI( you are 4 down 3 across)

haha I really am not bothered about my k/d ratio as long as the team wins. So once I get into a better habit of stacking/pulling warding/upgrading. Then I reken I will be a sought after support that does their job without the whine!

Few issues I still massively suffer from:

One single click on the mini map by accident when escaping has cost me countless deaths. I really need to edit my autoexec config to put a delay on the mini map selection.

Tunnel vision during key moments or zoning out in the lane.

Not 100% knowing when I should be getting stuck into a team fight or making a retreat to re-group.

Edit--

Also need to learn the abilities of about 90+ heroes still!

Pretty much same boat here CAI. We did alright last night though.

You were on with Spenty mate? I had no idea it was you on if that is the case.

Some reason my cousin being quite cheeky the last 2 games of the night. Slated him for it over TS though. Think he likes to show off a bit in front of me as I am new to MOBAs.

Aye he got a little cocky towards the end but he's a decent player, I'll be on later if you fancy a few games.

Is dc'ing, purposefully I mean, a problem in this game?

We were losing last night and looked like were going to be picked apart and someone within minutes went offline permanently. Then with 4v5 we won :p

Only a problem in the early games with new players, once people start to care they won't abandon.

"Minimum time after the mouse enters the minimap before we accept a move command. Used to prevent misclicks."

I need to do this myself, not died to it like you but from time to time I do it and I get all

Ah now that is useful knowledge. I've cancelled a fair few TPs by doing this!

Sounds like you guys have a nice little community going! I'm still fairly new, started a few weeks ago with a couple of mates but have now have got the hang of most things and am always up for a few team games, if anyone wants add me my ID is deadc4t

Yeah, 99% of the people are brilliant, there's just one or two ***** to avoid playing with. But join the guild and come on TS/mumble and you'll be sure to get a game with us some time.

On a side note, I quite enjoy playing Wisp. Getting used to warding too now, plays a very important part of the game, so I don't mind being a ward bitch for the team.

You are a godsend, I've died a few times due to this. Frustrates the living hell out of me!

had a couple all pick games last night, feels completely different to limited hero games the attitude seems different also... safe to say... lost both games lol but got to try out some new heroes which is never a bad thing

The amount of Russians is unbelievable. Why are they in the English speaking western Servers? :/

Russians are a plague across the internet now, I've recently gone back to some of my favourite old games, CS:S and DoD:S and all my favourite old servers with UK in the title are overrun but Russians, shouting at each other throughout the match, inevitable hacking and running at double the ping of everyone else.

As my Steam tagline now says:

I remember the good old days before Russians knew what the internet was.

Had a game with two friends last night where a random pugna on the team spent the entire game intentionally feeding them, buying up wards so that we couldn't. Gave them a gem, and constantly tried to feed the courier. Frustrating as it would have been an easy win else.

Some people clearly have too much time to waste in their lives, annoying thing was the enemy team thanking him rather than reporting. Valve needs more serious punishments in place for people like that.. Steam account bans would be good.

People rarely start a game with the intention of being bad and feeding imo. I think what happens quite often is you get either a really antisocial player on the team that just flames everyone, or a know-it-all-tryhard player on the team that just flames everyone. It brings down the team morale and no-one enjoys it and want the game to end as quickly as possible but don't want to get an abandon.

Quite often you can call from the hero select screen what type of game it's gonna be. If someone calls mid, buys a bottle for starting, and then starts telling other players what heroes to pick then you're gonna have a bad time. Conversely if someone cracks a joke and a couple of people respond well then you know it'll probably be an enjoyable game whether you win or lose.

It's a weird MOBA thing where the default mindset is angry tryhard because they're under the bizarre assumption that if they keep their W/L ratio high then Na'vi are gonna pick them for a stand-in at TI4.

You know what you're saying there Jolteh is entirely true.

I play with 3 other people most of the time, so thats 4 of us.. as its 5v5.. we ALWAYS and I mean.. ALWAYS get that tryhard random knob trying to direct the entire team when we're already on comms and know what the plan is.

The funniest are the ones that die a lot and still think they're amazing, you'd think they'd have the sense to back off more if the team isn't doing what they expect.

It works well having 4 of you, as you can bully the 5th to shut up if he carries on.. as it only takes 3 reports for it to work. The worst is the ones that ping the map a million times.. as you can't mute that for some reason.

As I mid lane 9/10 games, my bane is people who pick a mid laner after I've picked mine and called mid.. and then they fight with you in the middle. First come first served, if I'm beaten to the pick I'll move but when I let others pick mid it never works well for the team as we're on comms and I usually play the initiator.. we really need a perma 5th member..

If anyone fancies a competitive game, I'm sure I could get the lads to join in a captains mode if someone wants to put a team together
