So it creates like a damaging ward?

I wonder how long the treeward stays active? Says the cool down is 50 odd seconds but wonder if you can have multiple ones active on the map?
 
You can have as many as you want active and it lasts forever.

One of the major changes people aren't really paying attention to is that urn now cancels blink dagger. It also takes away refraction which makes me really sad.

You're right, I completely looked over the fact that now that items and spells can no longer be HP removal a lot more things cancel blink.
 
I may have misunderstood but Brood looks like a nasty nerf, I don't see the point of the Husk changes in that he can Life Break more regularly but damage is reduced and self damage increased? He'll just go splat a lot, Jugg ult not stopped by Chrono :eek: Sven and SB have some nice buffs, a Sven led attack could be especially amusing! The Lock and Timbersaw buffs are also pretty cool.

Will be interesting on launch! :D
 
No nerf to brood. Had a game with her on the test client today. I can't seem to select webs and destroy them though.

"Spin Web time to enter hidden mode after taking damage increased from 3 to 6 seconds"

That's the only nerf and it's nothing.
 
Naga Siren is my All Hero Challenge hero and I'm getting used to her (3 games now) but I can't win. Seems my team always has someone rubbish (worse than me) or the other team has someone really good.

I always end up playing a support Naga due to the number of carries selected in games at my level.
Is Naga any good as a Jungler if you level up the clones quickly?
 
Did you play a WK game last night Musty? If so i think it may be the first time i have bumped into anyone from OCUK.

How do i go about hooking up with you guys for some games?

I did and it was mighty terrible.

Were you on the other team? I cant check dota-buff at the moment.
 
Oh god that game :( I was the enchantress.....albeit not by choice, stupid random draft, i wasn't paying attention when it was my turn to choose :p
 
GF working late tonight so I will get my first play around with the new patch.

Assuming it's officially released? If not I might just go and install the test client.
 
It's not yet only on the test client. I think I'm right in saying tournament mode is broken in the game as well so I'm not too sure if they will wait until any tournys are finished as a patch this game changing being pushed through when pro games are going is not the smartest of things.

EDIT: Just to clarify, when making a game you can set it to tournament mode which would normally be a locked patch so when a new patch goes live the old standard can still be played.
 
As soon as the patch goes live you can only play on the latest version. There is no way around that.

They've released patches mid BO3s before. They don't really care about it that much.

No I think what he means is, those playing in tournaments get an option for which patch version they want to use for the match and they then use that. Stops tournaments getting ruined by huge changes.

However, us the peons... we dont get that choice :p
