A few people on the Steam forum said the following fixed the problem for them worth trying to see if it helps you

In catalyst controlcentre turn SMOOTHVISION HD Anti-Aliasing to Use application settings

Wasn't this the same review posted earlier? Whining about issues that are exclusive to the Xbox version like slow loading times?

Must be, load times for me are almost none existent on a fairly modest rig.

"RT to ****"??

Should that not be "LMB" :)

The dude is obviously a noob.

One of those games which gets marked down by those who just dont "get it", not because it is a bad game.

RPS writer is doing a live blog of his playthrough and he's only complaining about everything. luls

Because it's too 1990s it seems.

This game is awsome. It is a Duke Nukem game. Its pure fun so far, great weapons, good humor, filled with little extras (random interactions, comments and executions). It was never going to be a boundry pushing game in any sense, anyone who thought otherwise was deluding themselves. It looks pretty good and plays great. Glad I preordered.

Loving the reference to other gaming 'norms' like the green combat suit, red access card and the crowbar.

I'm sold, brb

The humour gets old, quickly. Its not as interactive as I was expecting and its definitely a linear run and gun game, which is what I was expecting. Graphics are very dated, again as I expected. Scripted events are poor. Voice acting is terrible, sure I didn't expect rpg quality but come on. Even duke sounded depressed.

"Armour is for pussies"

Bwahaha, no guesses on what that's referring to :p

Enjoying the game a lot so far. You can certainly tell it's an old skool focused game. the pacing is fast and the way you reload the shotgun but can immediately melee a pig or fire a quick blast in an instant is retro, it's pure Duke.

Love it!

Nay sayers can blow it out of their ass!

Right, i need a new gfx card! 1280x960 (20" square monitor) with textures etc on low and it's struggling

Spec otherwise

sandybridge 2500k, 4gb DDR3, SSD etc, 8800GT

What's going to be a good value graphics card that i can buy used that will allow me to run this at full whack? Will anything under £100 on the used market do this? What are other peoples mileage?

Cheers

Tom.

I have a GTX460 1GB and it plays it 100fps~ average really. And that's 1920x1200 max everything. I turn motion blur and grain off as visually I dislike these but makes no difference to fps. rest of my spec is i5 2500k 4.5ghz, 8gb ddr3.

Also, just seen an NPC called Leeroy, no guesses on what he does :p

Hah! I love this :D

Very mature, I know :p
