Can someone explain Cyrodiil to me please!

New to this MMO lark and just hit level 10. I have no friends to play with so completely solo. Does this mean I'll just get smashed as soon as I enter?

Also, where are all these group quests people are talking about? Is there a way to team up with other loners such as myself?

Add me in game(@MrAmbrosius) I'm happy to help you and group up with you if you want,I however have not done any PvP I'm level 11 nearly 12.

If your looking for a guild I'm in this one: www.theoldergamers.com you have to be over 25 there is also a fair few of us from here in that guild also, check it out see if our style suits your's.

Hope to see u in game.

Probably the best MMO i've played in a very very long time.

Its such a breath of fresh air to a stagnant WoW clone genre.

In my very limited knowledge/playtime of other mmo's I would have to completely agree.I love how it plays and feels and I personally think the graphics look superb for a mmo,the world is just so beautiful and detailed and of course huge!

Don't forget to grab the skyshards too folks :) lots of free skillpoints to be had.

Getting the sky shards is a very good idea,as u stated its just free skill points whilist being treated to exploring the gourgeous World they have created for us. I have 100% the starting area and nearly got all the sky shards in auridon need to get 3 more.

Yup quite a few OCuk'rs in Older Gamers now. We should hit 100 members when the non-headstarters get in. As Chris says though we do have a minimum age limit of 25. As with all guilds, the important thing is to find the right one for you

Was loving this yesterday, literally lost a few hours in it, then logged off. Went to log back on last night...realized I was playing on the NA server and not the EU server :( So currently downloading the EU game (which is stupid, surely the game files should be the same?!) now, at a snails pace *sigh*

The final beta introduced EU servers (iirc), it took ages to download the files to be able to play on the EU server.

I really never looked in to this game much but I'm feeling I want to start playing it despite my previous dislike of the game (not giving it enough time)

I love PvP and have done since UO and I pretty much PvP 24/7 in games I play but I don't really know what classes are good/not good, does my race actually make a difference to anything? What faction have people gone? I don't want to spend months playing the game to find out I've gone something wrong and can't play with people or my class is naff.

STOP!.

If you close the launcher. Copy and paste the contents of the "Elder Scrolls Online" folder into the "Elder Scrolls Online EU" folder. Then load the launcher.

It will save you a lot of time.

Virgin connection? Enjoy hitting traffic management after you've downloaded 10% :(

Had a nice example of the consequences of choice last night. Doing a quest on the DC side where you have to find out the weakness to a certain foe. To do so you
don a suit armour and go back in time. You end up getting a choice where you go after teh partner of the person whose suit you're inhabiting, or going straight after the werewolf. In beta I went straight after the werewolf but I decided to go after the partner here. In a prior conversation she drops hints that she's pregnant. If you go after the werewolf she dies but if you save her first and then go after the baddie, when you return to the present the NPC you interact with has changed to one that looks just like her and remarks that she's a descendent and gets annoyed for you staring at her :D

I thought it was a really nice touch. I also
let the werewolf infected Duke say goodbye to his family this time and he thanked me by saying "delicious!" and eating them
:D

Can the client be downloaded and moved to another machine guys?

Reason i ask is i can remote onto my server at home from work, download it to that, then install it on my gaming PC when i get in.

Ta :)

Yeah it can.

Just copy and paste the entire game folder and load the launcher. Hit repair to check everything is ok.
