The general consensus is Khajit is best for you due to the racial ability carnage. That's about it.

Whilst technically a catman has better passives for a NB, it won't make too much difference in the end. My NB's an Orc as I wanted the sprinting bonus, I'll spend more time running to or away than fighting in cyrodil anyway ;)

Play what you like. Leave the theory crafting & minmaxing to people with too much time on their hands imo.
 
Carnage got nerfed in beta and now only effect melee not bow attacks i believe? It's really not a huge deal what race, the wood elf still has the stealth range bonus which is super good.

Hopefully once the EU megaserver shifts over to the EU, maintenance schedules will be at a more sensible time. Should also help with the lag!
 
Are there any downsides to switching weapons every now and then? Apart from not leveling them up. Getting a bit bored with bow so want to go dual wield for a bit, but I'll probably end up going bow again later. Also can you reset the skill points? I feel stealth would be good for dual wield but awful for bow.
 
just play whatever race your prefer the look of,the passives help a little at the start but as u get higher levels the racials give a near on non noticeable bonus,its the min/maxers that worry about these things and in all honesty if u dont know what u should be racial wise indicates to me that your not a min/maxer so dont worry.

im truly loving this game at the minute i knew i was going to like it but didnt think i would be getting into it this much ive been at work and put leave in to leave four odd hours early just so i can play! haha put a good 30+ hours in now.

whats everyones feeling on the game so far?
