*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

I did some shard hunting on Tuesday night with my guild, 2 large groups, so actually a warband already, 24 of us.
We are on AD side. If you were a Pact and did some shards in dungeons and got ganked there by large AD group, that was us :D
It was a fun evening and fine few last days, despite countless bugs, disconnects, sudden lag spikes etc
ESO world is the most beautiful of all MMOs out there.

It's funny. I thought I'd covered all of Glenumbra during three betas but I've found about five or six areas with quests that I didn't even realise were there. I found this tailor yesterday who had quickly upped sticks and left his home bound for Daggerfall. He'd been attacked by wolves though and lost all his gear and was desperate for me to get it back for him, and quickly. He was very coy about why he'd done a runner and I assumed he was a ne'er do well but when I'd completed the quest his smothering wife turned up, calling him a fluffy bunny and how she was going to ship him off to her Mothers for safe keeping. As the NPCs finished talking he turned to me (not the zoomed in dialogue you get when you interact with them) and said "Yes, thanks for your help stranger; thanks for nothing!"

Poor sod. I was hoping a Dark Fissure was going to open on his head and spare him his misery.

What's the best way of finding Mats on the ground? i've literately found a couple of pieces of jute and wood, purely by accident lol

Seems its not as easy to find as other MMO's

Put points into Keen Eye, that made an enormous difference to me, once I had the mats "sparkling" it made gathering way easier

Yeh i keep hearing this is the best way, now forgive me if im being thick (highly likely) but in order to put pioints into Keen eye, i have to get to level 2 in the craft, im struggling to find mats to get me to level 2.

Is it just a case of try harder etc?

Is there an OCUK clan? Sorry if this was already asked I don't really wanna go back through pages of comments

Does anybody know how to get add ons? I've no idea what they are.

Username Chesney420. Feel free to add

A good way is to deconstruct loot, so take the armour, weapons etc etc that you find , to a crafting station and deconstruct them there, you get a little xp and you get some mats back

A guildie told me the other night that you get more experience for deconstructing stuff you didn't make yourself. So if two people are levelling the same profession, make stuff, swap it, deconstruct, rinse & repeat :)

Thats correct, you get considerably more for deconstructing stuff made by other people compared to deconstructing your own.

Finally going to get on this tonight/tomorrow despite having 5 day early head start... does anyone know what the situation is with the Nuuvem Imperial edition codes? Are we supposed to be getting something else to redeem?

Nevermind, saw the link above :)

I am really annoyed now. Bought the imperial edition for early access and 3 evenings they have taken the server offline during peak hours in the EU.

What a joke.
