I am probably guilty of using the word epic too much tbh.

The word that REALLY annoys me when people use it is 'generic'....So you don't actually know what you are moaning about then!?

'Epic' and 'epic fail' ceased to be cool when I heard an old guy on Come Dine With Me use it...

Truth! Using the word epic is so 2003.

Now you see EVERYONE whoring the adjective around like its something new and fresh, when in fact it was being whored on the net at least 8 years ago.

My brother says 'Massive'

eg "Massive Funny", "Massive Fast" etc...

Might be a north walian thing I don't know about, or he's just a bit gifted.

Dont forget people, the internet is no longer a early twenties/teenage geek playground like it used to be.

Its 2012, Im 35 years old and although I wasnt on newsgroups and the like in the early 90's, I was on dialup in 1997 a couple of years before it went completely mainstream in 99/00.

Its everybodies playground now, just think how mortified we would all of been if Pat Butcher had made an "all your base" reference in east enders in 2001.

Has got overused IMO in real life when talking face to face, however I think it is still acceptable to use on the Internetz :)

I try to avoid using it, even in situations where the word would be appropriate.
The overuse has diluted the power of the word.

I propose if "E*** FAIL" reaches 100 first. Whoever uses the word in the forums after that should be banned for 2 hours and there name changed to something degrading :D

Heaven forbid the other wins... then people should be free to over use it and milk the life out of the word all they like without anyone laughing or shaking their heads at them :)

I hate the word now, the only times it gets used is when referencing the games developer.

I think the hatred for the word comes from one of my long un-combed haired, war-hammer collecting colleagues who uses it constantly day in and out!
I cannot even vote in the thread as the word is a constant in both answers, had a real 'NO' been supplied i would have voted against it!
