I can't even get a 1:45 let alone a 1:37 why am I so off the pace.

Using manual gears ? If not then I suggest you try and do as it adds a lot of time >1 second usually.

Try using some of the setups shown here as a guide to setting up the car http://i576.photobucket.com/albums/ss203/ROBISTHESTIG/1-5.png

I found that using the T-Cam gives you a better look at the corner so you can judge breaking and turning a little better which of course adds to your speed.

The rest is really just practice. Practice, practice and more practice.

Just a few recon laps, sadly I'm following my McLaren ghost which is about 1 second quicker.

Do you mind sharing your setup? I'm getting low 1:29 but just can't seem to get anything more out of the Toro Rosso.

I'll let you know next week, don't want to give it away to early What I will say is that you must blast through Copse in 6th, Maggots in 6th and down to 4th as you turn right through Beckettes on the entrance to Chapel. I was ahead of the my McLaren ghost going through these corners but I lose that down hanger straight as the McLaren is such a beast in a straight line.

Haven't played F1 in a few days, will give this a go tonight if I can. Im on xbox so are off-screen photos ok as proof of time?

While this thread still lives I have a question. Does anyone else have the problem of not being able to view replays after a time trial session? And do you know how to fix it?

I haven't been able to use the replay function since the one and only update last year. Totally broken.

Sure, as long as you can post a picture with the same layout as everyone else and besides it must get kinda smelly hanging around the console derp thread

Anyone help? all I want is steering deadzone and steering linearity settings.
I'm using 15% and 35 % for now but it still doesn't seem right, please help.

My settings are:

Steering deadzone - 20%
Steering saturation - 100%
Steering linearity - 50%
Throttle deadzone - 0%
Throttle saturation - 100%
Break deadzone - 0%
Break saturation - 100%

These are the defaults for the game and work perfectly for me. I'm not sure if other joypad users have other settings but I like these. Give them a try and see how you get on.
