Istanbul has actually grown on me, I'm still a bit cautious at turn 1 though.
 
A few recon laps. Love this track, I think we will have a lot of fun with this one. So glad to be back in the McLaren :D

Why is it always lap 3 wtf ? I've done at least 15 laps on the last one :confused: does it reset if you start again ?

Edit: :o If you hit restart it drops the lap you were on, I must have kept restarting if I made a mistake on lap 2 at some point :o.

Seeing as you were following me and you have lines on, was I on the correct corner lines or not, just curious as to whether I'm doing it right :p

I got quite a speed boost from my initial laps on the circuit to that last time from changing both the roll bars all the way up to 11, give that a try with minimal wing and see if it feels better.

I can't beat my ghost at all now. I can stay ahead until I exit the hairpin, my ghost has awesome traction on the exit and blasts past me. :(
 
had a few hours on this earlier and the closest I got was 12.599, I just don't have the skills to go faster :p That's a brilliant time inam22.

Use Fraps (free version) then after taking a screen shot edit the image in paint to save it as JPEG to make the file size small.
Edit: MSI Afterburner also has a screen shot feature, however the last time I used the program with this game it caused it to crash.

+1 on the Truelights mod. It really does make a significant visual difference to the game.

Fantastic time in Hockenheim inam22, could you post your setup to see if I can improve on my time if you wouldn't mind.
If no one else objects to me choosing this week, then I choose Singapore/Virgin and you all know I like it wet hahaha :p.

Yeah, I'm not even kidding when I say I have no idea of the track layout. It all looks the same to me. I went around earlier and posted a 1:48 something, but I was ashamed of how slow it was to even take a screen shot.

Full wet setup and the full racing line until I know my way around. I just hope that this track won't turn anyone off from taking part.
 
I just can't do it :( Spent an hour lapping, fiddling with set up, then more lapping. When I though I was getting into a rhythm I clipped a kerb and lost it. Such a hard track.
