Hey Marine, make sure you have 'standard' engine speed set in your garage setup, then change to fast with the quick menu once you are on the circuit. BIG difference in speed. Do not set it to fast in the garage.

Quick noob question, screenshots how they taken and were are they stored? Need to post my 1:34 joke time

I use fraps. You run Fraps when you're playing the game. Pressing f10 saves a screenshot to your fraps folder however with the free version it's a .BMP file which is massive so you have to resave it as a .jpg file. I think microsoft paint does this.

With screen shots, I don't have any program (like FRAPS) installed. So I press Alt + Enter to take the game to windowed mode then use Alt + Prt Scr to take a shot of the active window. The screenshot is now on your clipboard and can be pasted into any photoshop (or MS Paint) like program.

Merlin is correct about the TC - it does hold you back by a little bit.
