been trying to beat my time but only managed 1:30:9 just couldnt get close to it

Istanbul is one of my favourite tracks! Managed this time after about half an hour so far....looking at the leaderboards it seems competitive but I think I will want to be in the 21s to be anywhere near you guys.

Hi folks, I've just picked up F1 2010 for the 360 and thought I'd have a go at these time trials. I've been on Istanbul in the Merc with all assists off and I'm really struggling to do much better than ~127.5. What setups are you all using for the car? I noticed that with the first dry setup, adjusting the wing to Aero+ knocked a second off my fastest time but I have no idea about the best advanced settings to use.

Use the advanced dry set up at first ie: shift the bar to the far right.
I quite like my brakes to be 55% front bias and i like the balance to be 60:40 .
Also don't forget to set your engine to fast, but do it on track rather than in the garage.

Yeah it seems a good setup. I don't know about your lap but my lap certainly wasn't perfect so it could certainly be improved by up to about 0.5 seconds in my view.
Remains to be seen though how much everyone else will improve on this when they start posting their times.

Probably, we have what seems an eternity to the next race anyway so I would presume times will start flowing in near the actual grand prix.

Bah, this must be what its like to play golf, I managed a sub 1:21.8 on lap two today, and then spent the next hour or so trying to put a clean lap together....... Never managed it but I did put this descent on in, imo: Good bit of time to come off that but good God its infuriating.

I really think rules should be no help with the lines and T/C max at Medium, otherwise what's the point of posting your time?

You could argue using tcam it's self is an aid aswell. I would assume we want this to remain open otherwise youd just have 1-2 drivers duking it out on there own with mere mortals watching the times......
