Do any of the actual F1 racing drivers race without traction control? If they don't then what is the point in the option bar making the car harder to handle? (Might be a stupid question but gotta ask somewhere).

Also has anyone every set up a weekly grandprix weekend/race in accordance to the actual season on the forums and maybe had a leaderboard? Actual races seem a bit more fun than just TTs.

I some times use this as a bench and tweek it, I suck at set up though:

I'm going to struggle to beat my Toro Roso ghost car which I was able to do a 1:37.3xx in. I hate following a ghost, it distracts me to much.

Because there is more to lap times than what sort of wheel you are using.

It's like saying on a first person shooter: "How can you aim better than me with the same mouse?".

Just practice really. You can often go a lot faster than you actually think you can. I still think i could go quite a bit faster than that time. a lot of my apexes/breaking points werent anywhere near perfect.
