Hi V F, PS3 version is allowed but would it be possible for you to post your times in this format: TIME - VIEW - CONTROLLER - ASSISTS, eg. 1:27.235 - T-Cam - Xbox - No Assists. This is really for my benefit as I copy/paste the times in to save me some time and it also keeps the thread consistent, thank you
Your driving is so smooth and precise, I guess that's down to using a wheel. you take the first corner in 2nd, I do it in 4th although you could have a long gear ratio so that may be the reason. Your whole lap looked tidy with only a few bits of understeer.

The gear ratios is probably why I can't break the 1:19's ... I'm going to have a play around tomorrow and see what happens.
Welcome Pants 1:20's is good if you are having to get used to the game and a wheel. Wheel users are generally a second faster than joypad users so once your up to speed you'll be flying past most of us (me) in no time

Had to put the TC back on because I just couldn't handle the constant spinning on the last corner, it was more frustrating than fun. The cockpit cam is from the 2011 overhaul mod which you can find in the official F1 2010 thread, the drivers head moves when you turn, it just feels great to drive it like that, I think that's the reason I set a much improved time.

Here's how I drive. Although I rage quit after running wide twice at turn 7 you get the idea

I think I'll call it a day on this one. I'm really really happy with this time considering I was struggling at the start of the week. Only 0.002 away from mercyless*

I'm using this 2011 mod http://www.racedepartment.com/f1-2010-mods/55291-download-rddev-season-2011-total-conversion.html sorts everything for you although it is recommended to start a new season after installing this. Looks sweet with every car skin in hi res texture. It also mods the camera and adds more views like the cool cockpit cam I'm using, you can see in the vid how it moves when I turn, brake etc.
Yip, it basically changes the car skins and menus to bring it up to 2011 standard. In terms of graphics, It makes it look better by getting rid of the murky wash from the vanilla game and brightens up the colours of everything. The car skins are also much higher res which looks nicer.
The time trials last from one GP to the next. They finish on Sundays at 9pm, have a wee read of the OP for rules n stuff

It looks like you got those mods working too, well done. Did you only install the cars, tracks and camera mods or the whole shabang ?

Looks like you have them installed as the Monaco adverts say Pirelli and Martini, they aren't in the vanilla game.
