1:20.699 - T-Cam - Xbox - No assists



I'm giving it a go without assists this round. It's a completely different experience not having TC on, the rear wheels spin a lot out of the chicanes. Good fun though :)
 
Starting to get used to the circuit. Plenty of time to be had. Whether I can attain it is another matter! :p

Thanks inam. Your FF wheel weight and enviromental effects are identical to mine. My feedback strength is lower at 20%. Your saturation and linearity is lower than mine, and your rotation is slightly less. Do you not find having spring, damper and centering strengths at 100 give too much resistance to the wheel? Cool though, nice to compare settings!:)
 
I'm really liking it inam! I don't know if it has performance that necessarily gives me better laptimes than my old wheel, but I do like the fresh new feel of it, and most of all, the ability to never have to lean to my keyboard, I can do everything from the wheel which is brilliant! The throttle pedal is really easy to push down, there's a bit more resistance on my old one. So the DFGT throttle pedal allows me to floor it a bit quicker I think. Oh yea, it clamps to the desk really well, not a nano millimetre of movement.

Well discounting the obvious CalifornianGuy, here's the PC leaderboard as it stands. Don't know if 1:16's are legal, I'm guessing it's possible to achieve that. I'll never find out personally :p
