Welcome to the all new F1 2011 Time Trials thread.

We will be following the 2011 calendar from this weekends GP which is Singapore, Car choices will be based on the constructors standings as of the end of 2010. After the 12 cars have been run the winner of the remaining tracks will be free to choose which ever car and they like for the following weeks TT, same goes for when the tracks have been used up.

About mods, for now mods are banned because it's a new time trial and i want consolers to join in on the fun as well.

This is not a serious contest and is purely for the purpose of having fun. Please do not feel shy about joining in.

Questions, hints, tips and suggestions about setups are greatly welcomed.

Rules

Please post times in the following format with a link to your screenshot below:

TIME - VIEW - CONTROLLER - ASSISTS - Weather - Gaming system

eg. 1:27.235 - T-Cam - Xbox - No Assists - Wet/Dry - PC/XBOX/PS3

* Times not posted in the correct format or without a screenshot will be ignored.
* Do not edit posted times with new times. Make a new post for improved times.
* If a remarkable time is posted you may be asked to produce evidence to ensure fair play.
* Videos of laps are also welcomed and can be linked in the thread.
* Custom setups are allowed.
* Tracks will be changed at the end of each weekend, Usually on a Sunday night around 9pm.
* Suspension and balance setting 11/11 is banned from this point onwards until it is corrected on all platforms via an update
* Pictures with prove of a valid time have to be taken from the leaderboard ONLY (times that are posted without being on the leaderboard will be invalid and ignored)

Since this is a new TT and the game is new the rules are not final as of yet, i have not got the yet so i will need to wait to see what codemasters have changed in TT mode so for now everyone just have some fun.

Added a new rule,

If anyone is suspected of using the above suspension setting there time will be removed.

I know it is hard to police something like this but i just hope everyone will be a good sport and not use it
 
I have been thinking about banning driver aids but no one will want to take part because the game is just not serious for most people, FVA is aimed at sim racers which is why it is so popular because of the time trials, put multiplayer in the game then you will start to get people moaning/bitching.

FVA was only designed with single player in mind but F12011 was design to a whole different group of racers (consolers $$$$$$$$$$), if i went with no assists there would be very little people taking part, for Korea i will ban assists for that round only as a test... if people like it then it will stick to that, as for policing it i will only allow screen shots from the leaderboard.

That sound ok to anyone?
