I just wish Lionhead would drop the campy design style, the games would be far more enjoyable if it wasn't for the awful tongue in cheek voice overs and the terrible puns.

From what i can remeber 1 was a really big game (never finished it) plus there was the expansion part which of course i never got to.
Still what makes Fable, Fable. It's not for you at all.
It's like complaining that Gran Turismo has too many cars.
I'm not trying to win any hearts of minds with my statement, it's just what bugs me about the game. The fighting mechanics are sound and Fable 1 in theory was a wonderful game, it had a decent plot and some really interesting quests, it's just that the campy nature of it all really puts me off. It totally destroys the immersion for me and when i play a game immersion is one of the most important things.
I'm not trying to be one of those guys that goes around trashing threads of games i don't like.
[EDIT] Like for example that first trailer, awesome premise, some great action and some cool looking set pieces. But if they chucked in the inevitable fart emote at the end it would totally ruin any excitement the trailer created.

I thought 26th was release date anyway?
That's the US release date, 29th Oct release date for us poor souls... even though it's a British game.
