*** Official Fallout 4 - No Spoilers Allowed ***

I shall not be happy for any human who plays this game a single moment before I get to.

To hell with you all!!! :p

Guys lets keep talk about performance, the game etc on the shelf until release. No point talking about stuff that might get fixed or changed in a patch that's due on Tuesday.

True :) the game is not supposed to be played yet and probably has a few patches coming before release.

Though on a side note my ps4 has been bugging me with its sound so I have just chopped a whopping hole into the bottom of it above the fan.. So far it's 95% quieter :D pleased as it will allow me to get more immersed into fallout :D

Looking forward to firing this up, as its teasing me being downloaded on xbox just sitting there ready to play.

I also have memories of fallout 3 being VERY buggy at the start with NPCs falling through the map to their death and other weird stuff.

New Vegas was even worse, lets hope things have improved.

Is this preloading thing only applicable to people who have preordered through Live or PSN, or can I download it on my PS4 now in time for when my disc arrives? As I assume there will be some sort of download needed even with the disc? Not bought a launch game in years...

Likely will be a small patch when the game launches. Even those who pre load will need to download this when the game is available to be played

Day one patches are download with the preload usually, Halo 5 had a huge one as did MCC. Not always but usually.

preloads are for digital purchases only, why would they let you use their bandwidth without you paying for the product? no digital distrubution system lets you download things you have bought (barring trials and demos)

never played these games they look like a cross between an adventure, rpg and a 1st person shooter?
Spot on. They're amazing games for the freedom they give you - beyond the first couple of hours of the game you're never tied into going a specific route. You can go anywhere at any time. You can follow the story mission by mission, or you can go off exploring and see what fun you get into. Some of the best times I've had in Fallout have been from exploring the wastelands and running into areas, people and quests I would never have found if I'd just followed the story.

Put simply, Fallout 3 is the best game of all time for me.

^Ditto. Absolutely walks over all FPS like CoD and Crysis etc.

All of those are must go here, do that....and the difficulty is the only thing that changes.

In Fallout you have complete freedom, and the choices you make directly affect the way you play....and ultimately the ending too. Weren't there like 3 or 4 endings to FO3?
