can I just add...Uranium Fever is the best song I have heard in the fallout games..its so damn catchy, from 1955 by Elton Britt

its hilarious and wierd these songs were really written!

Yeah, I bloody love Diamond City Radio. So glad it had the songs from Fallout 3 on there

I am so loving this game.

I am level 12 I think and got to Diamond City last night. At the end of last night i did something that made me laugh so hard but I may live to regret.

Let's just say that I had recently found a rocket launcher and made a mess. Unfortunately some of the people that the mess consisted of might have been important. It was spectacular though.

I had been a die hard Destiny player since launch, but I am not missing it at all.
 
I think I might of missed some stuff at the start lol. I was in Dimond City at like level 6. Gets the old nerves going wondering around outside that place.

24 hours plus, level 15, not even gone over the River. Only just gone into Cambridge! Damn town micro-managing and junk hoarding. Thankfully I now have 2 power armours, they're liked Parked cars on different areas of the map for me to haul more stuff home.
 
It was 8 hours or so in before I realised you could activate a light on your pip boy. A few sections were far scarier than they should have been...

No they are separate story's set in a similar world. You might find it all a bit overwhelming at first as there is no real set way to play. Playing 3 makes it easier to understand how the game works.....
 
That's really good to know, loving the game so much already and haven't even been there yet. I've just been doing side quests, exploring, crafting, collecting etc and already addicted. If it gets even better, that's a good thing it'll be the first game since Witcher 3 that could contend for my GOTY. Although i think it is still ahead and will remain there, this is a stupidly good game and I am absolutely loving it.

Cheers, Ive dabbled in 3 and NV but never got a foothold in the games to get going. Will possibly pick this up then if the stories arent interlinked :cool:
 
Loving this game so far. Can not believe it has been 5 years since the last fallout game!

My only gripe is the power suit power thing. It is a needless grind that is annoying. Would have rather got it later in the game. Here is to hoping that fusion cells become more common later in the game! I have two suits already and only level 6! :D
 
I haven't found any fusion cores since the original one yet so I've not bothered with the power suit and not found anything too challenging yet. Legendary deathclaws (which are surprisingly common) are the only thing that provide a challenge. Sure that will change later on in the game
