*** Official Fallout 4 - No Spoilers Allowed ***

I had the vanilla version and have had great fun with it. I noticed that the season pass has been reduced to £24.99 so I bought it and have been playing most of the weekend. At level 63 now. Just finished Nuka World and it was great! Far harbour next.

My Exploding rapid auto shotgun is a beast!

Well late to the band wagon with this. Picked it up for a tenner the other week. Put in about 15 hours so far and am about level 9 or 10 I think.

Enjoying it so far. No idea if i'm doing the right thing in terms of using my perk points or which missions I should be focusing on. Kind of just accepting and doing everything that is thrown at me.

Joined the Minutemen, done a few things for them, now helping Paladin Danse's crew at the Police station. Have only just got to Diamond City.

Have made some beds at Sanctuary, put up a couple of defenses, got some power and a radio beacon going, water pump and some diff food going. Think that is the right thing to do but its been a bit of a steep learning curve haha having never played a Fallout game before!

Good game though so far and has kept my attention well. Will see how far I get with it as it seems to be a bit of a beast.

Is the season pass really worth £40? I have a game voucher that I could spend it on. I played Fallout 4 for a year and loved it, I even got the platinum trophy. I don't usually bother with DLC but missing playing the game and the hi-res texture update for the PS4 pro is making me think about buying it.

Personally, I don't think it's worth £40...however, if you played the game for a year and 100%'d it, then it's probably worth £40 to you.

I don't regret having bought the season pass at the outset. Nuka World and Far Harbor are great if you like the main game. You get several other bits too.
I do love the game and have all 84 Steam achievements, so I couldn't live without having got all the DLC's. And you haven't done all the achievements if you don't have the DLC.

The two main things I have noticed with the High Res pack is that the foliage is really nice, better than the mods I tried. Also the nuclear blast at the beginning was stunning. Creatures and people seem more solid, the details you can see are a step up. I crippled the deathclaw at the beginning and what it looked like lurching along was wonderful. Certain other parts like your house at the beginning don't seem much different.
edit - Playing on PC.

Don't worry about it, you will get the through the game.
If it's a game you like it really rewards more play-throughs so you can live your life again, knowing what you learned the first time. Also the faction paths you have to choose one of all have different story quest lines.

And it's disappointing tbh. Far Harbor still stutters badly and I can't see much difference.

Is this running in 1080p or higher? I figured i would wait until the patch was released for this until i started playing again but it would be disapointing if its still a bit of a stuttery mess in the more urban areas of the map

Tbh I have no idea it looks a bit better textured in places but it's still stuttery at times Far Harbor with the fog beng the worst still. It's still only a max of 30fps s no unlocked frame rate as far as I can tell. The patch was only 500mb ish so not a big update like the PC version.....

Started a new game. Might just be me. But it looks and runs fantastic ?

I jumped straight to Far Harbor as that's were I saw the most issues before. I really couldn't start fresh now I have so many hours in the game.....
