Got smooth performance all over the map here. Have you tweaked the ini files?Standing on the roof of the assembly plant overlooking the town, framerate ~27

Yeah 100+, you've clearly not gone far.
Does anyone know what he's doing in the registry with this app? Unless I run it as admin, I get a failure message about the reg. But all he's doing is putting a UI on some ini files and locking them, so shouldn't be touching the reg.

Gotcha, taHigh CPU Priority <--- This
Inumhwthreads=8 or whatever your thread count is has really boosted performance for most. Has nothing to do with lowering quality. Try itWhy would I need to tweak the game to look uglier to achieve good framerates on a 980Ti?

Hey Beth, you forgot to put in those textures![]()
How would I limit my frame rate to 100?
I'm not seeing that as an option in NV Inspector.

Happened to me on my first few sessions - seems the high fps was to blame, hasn't happened since I capped it to 60fps.
still enjoying Fallout 4 but finding it pretty tough
the enemies are so FAST ! even the Mole Rats
finding graphics to look superb - at the little features etc - BUT sometimes in dialogue etc the armour - even on NPCs looks ridiculously low res - texture wise
You got ugrids 13 at 4k or something?Using old commands for Skyrim/oblivion/fallout3/nv that did nothing then arent going to do anything now as the games were always mostly singlethreaded.
And it didnt do anything. Still ~27fps looking down at the town from the assembly plant.
VATs is much faster too for me. FO3 had them almost frozen, with FO4 they're still coming at me.Thats what VATS is for.![]()
