The whole settlements/Powerarmor thing is a joke.

Meet unknown people.
Unknown people give you Power Armor, for free.
Unknown people crown you king of their settlement.

Literally like 5 minutes into the game.
 
After refusing to give in and restart the game I have finally fixed my bug. Had a friend go through the exact same set of missions as me and discovered what I had done. I ended up killing an NPC earlier in the game that was a main part of one of the story quests so the game just wouldn't let me skip. Thank god for the resurrection command. But then I couldn't have any dialog with them so had to skip that stage in the quest and it finally worked. I'm so happy I can carry on now after a day of pulling my hair out. :D

Embrace the klepto! I've taken everything that isn't nailed down or belonging to someone who hasn't tried to kill me. Absolutely everything.

I'd like a proper PC interface rather than a console one, so I could easily select multiple items and scrap them for parts. I don't really want to be carrying dozens of empty bottles, ashtrays, empty oilcans, toy cars, etc, etc and have no room for anything else.
 
I killed the bloke who asked me to fix his leaky pipes at the reservoir. I doubt it will come back to haunt me but I really didn't like his attitude after I went diving in the toxic water for him.

It's weird how you can pickpocket someone and then when you kill them they have another load of gear on them...how big are their pockets?:D

Because it doesn't look bad if it's working probably. I'm playing at 1920x1080 with ultra settings and it looks good.

Not perfect (I particularly don't like the appearance and animation of Dogmeat) but far, far better than the horrendously, incomprehensibly bad graphics you seem to be getting.

Does anyone know what he's doing in the registry with this app? Unless I run it as admin, I get a failure message about the reg. But all he's doing is putting a UI on some ini files and locking them, so shouldn't be touching the reg.
 
Why does the DOF not work? Outside of cutscenes there no blurring ever.

Stare at a fence post or the corner of a wall nothing behind it blurs.

What point is the DOF/Bokeh?
 
Too buggy - pretty crazy that they clearly don't test it on high end GPUs - the variety of bugs is really putting off playing and pre-ordering anything else from them.

Loved Skyrim but bought it sometime after release.
 
14 hours straight zero crashes 100 FPS all the time @ 1080p ultra settings.. gfxs are really nice with some new sweetfx profiles!

atmosphere is in this game is class.. love hacking too.. sleep time now!
