**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Anyone playing Fallout Shelter? I suck at it.. All my people are chronically depressed, starving and are dehydrated.

Edit:

Why did that turn red!

Tempted to pull the trigger on the pip boy edition.

However the game can be pre-ordered for about £22 on digital download sites. That means £78 for the pip boy and figure (not bothered about the rest tbf)

Don't think it's worth it, unless it includes a season pass?

If you like Fallout then I think it's worth it because you won't be able to get your hand on one once the game is released and then you will probably either regret it or have to pay double on ebay for one.

Got about 55 dwellers at the moment and things are going smoothly enough. Make sure you're assigning dwellers with the correct skills to the rooms that require them i.e Power stations require Strength, Diners require Agility. Don't expand your rooms too early on in either. Upgrade your rooms first before getting a second because the latter will require power.

The biggest issue at the moment is bugs...radroaches can sometimes spawn as invulnerable for some reason and just one can wipe out your whole populace. I haven't encountered them at the moment. I can't stress this enough, work towards your objectives - you get good money and sometimes those lunchboxes that give good rewards. I was very lucky with my first 2 and they gave me good npcs.

Fallout Shelter beats Candy Crush as the #1 app

I had the same conversation with myself. Went the £22 route in the end. It's a lot of money for something I'm going to use once, a t-shirt and a bobble head that'll gather dust.

Has anyone got a theory on what year FO4 is going to be set in yet? I know the vault dweller has got a ~200 year gap to make up from the bombs dropping, so it's likely around the 2270-2300 mark but the rebuilding aspect made me start to wonder when this might actually be.

I love fallout and love the idea of these but £68.... seems excessive.

I think this is the way I am leaning, you can get the bobblehead from the store for $16 but then an $18 delivery charge

T-Shirt offer is gone and only the bobble head is there now? Either they have run out of T-Shirts or cannot fulfil them in the first place.

Had some doubts when placing my pre-order yesterday, we shall see if I get mine.

Wonder if we will get the bobblehead (and T-shirt) prior to the release date? Credit card is not charged until dispatch anyway according to confirmation email.

Where can it be had for £22? Will it definitely be a steam key? I did hear Bethesda were starting their own games client, so wouldn't want to end up with a Bethesda key.

Thanks I missed the links in the op. Having read the thread about them it seems you need to add vat to that and some other charges?

EDIT: Nvm, thats G2A :o.
