**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Just started the pre loading... Yay excited!.
Odd the preload has stopped... And it does not appear to be going well it downloads then totally stops then starts again.

This is my first time pre loading is that right?

Seems ok now. Be nice to know it will be on my pc ready for Tuesday
 
Just waiting for my cdkeys key. At least with my new internet connection it should only take about 20-30mins :)

Sounds like the servers are getting hammered with all the preloading!

try a different server,im getting 8.7MB download from united arab emirates,was only get 4MB from the london server.
 
Bit the bullet and bought in advance, using quidco and cdkeys for game and season pass, worked out cheaper than GMG even with their 22% off and quidco.
Does mean I can't preload thus far, but such is life.
 
Took me about 45 mins @9Mbps to preload the released files. I think there will be another smaller preload nearer the release time or around 12.01am ish on release day as its only 23Gb.

Same, I'll wait for reviews and probably get it in 2016. Mad Max, Arkham Knight, MGSV and Final Fantasy XIII will take me eons to finish, if ever:p

I'm genuinely interested in the game. Looks good to me and I really liked Fallout 3, it's just that I don't like to play too much and have quite a lot of games to finish:p

I probably hit a nerve to spark such replies, it tends to happen when the truth hurts.

Anyways, a Google search reveals many results of people's complaints towards the games graphics, it was no surprise the quality of graphics came under the spotlight after the debut trailer was released, hence the reason I said the graphics could have - ahem 'have' - been better.

I'm just a bit saddened as I am a graphics whore and was looking forward to a better looking F4. I hope the game will still be good and the modders work their magic like Skyrim.

No, no you didn't. If you see my follow up post I state I've got no business telling someone it's wrong to want graphics to be even better (and I'll add to this, to be the very best they can be).

You stated that in your opinion, they could be better. There's literally nothing wrong with that at all.

Modders WILL make it look better, and that's something I am greatly looking forward to. My issue is with the stupid people claiming it looks no different, or only a bit better than Fallout 3, or that it actually looks bad. It's utter nonsense.

As I said, I was literally asking a question that has got some people foaming at the mouth.
