Silly question,

On a weapons workbench, is it possible to move a scope from one rifle to another? or once you've crafted and attached a part - is it forever stuck to that gun ?

Yes you can assuming the scope is compatible with both weapons, on the one with the scope simply select no scope and it will remove it and place it in your inventory and you should be able to place it on your other weapon.

Ok that was a fun experience. Thought I do bit of cross country and stumbled upon a Super Mutant Bemoth ! Thank god for V.A.T.S though ! Since first I thought it was just a normal Super Mutant, which not to hard to kill from distance. So, I retreated a bit, made a save then pulled out my Sniper Rifle, put a couple shots in him, ran some, shoot again, then ran some more.. did that a couple times, while also trying to dodge the rocks he was throwing at me then finally managed to put him to the ground ! :D

If anyone wondering where it was..

Well I think I have been playing this far too much. Reached Level 100 in my Vanilla playthrough with no mods or commands thus far. Happened Curtsey of a high level Deathclaw and the Mirv. :D

Well, even though you have no set budget, I think it's probably best to go for a good value for money card which will deliver more performance than you are currently getting, such as a GTX970 or R9 390.

By the way, what PSU do you have?

Hi, sorry for the late reply, work got on top of me, I have saved some pennies this month and am going for the GTX 970, before I make the jump can someone please tell me if my PSU is packing enough punch, I am using a Cooler Master RS-500-PSAP-J3

Thanks for any help.

I pre ordered the pip boy edition ages ago for my of but due to my change in work I'm working off shore my choice but took my Xbox one with me to save some sanity. I have to say I have been pleasantly surprised at the quality of the graphics some occasional slow downs but not to distracting from game play so I am wondering what differences I can expect from my 580 GTX?

I agree with others that it was a bit much in the first hour with getting a set off power armour etc. Trolling three this thread I've read about bases just being attacked with two raiders or such to be honest to a point but last night I went to assist a settlement with a tough fight on my hands of two raiders in power armour plus three other normal raiders plus one legendary at my level of 21 I have to omit I had to end up getting my own PA suit to win the battle.

Quite a few of us have had no issues with the vanilla game.

I'm not knocking mods, they can add loads and help people with performance issues. I will be using them at a later date.

Or they could make you download the entire game again without having played it, just saying.

Put the enhanced wastes mod on actually a great mod looks better and runs even better. Can always rely on the community to fix Bethesdas games :D

True, but I think a certain amount goes for making a mod friendly game and supporting mods, either through allowing them or having an SDK.

Beth and Obsidian have both done a great job of this, and thats what makes them ultimately very good games.

You cant please everyone with the base game, but you can if they can get what they want on the steam workshop.

Yep, very pleased the game looks better and runs fantastically. A LOT has gone into this game and I'm just thankful for beth for making them in the first place but a new engine for the next one might be needed?

A little disappointed so far. Theres nothing wrong with the game, but it just isn't giving me that vibe yet!

Also having some real issues getting it set up right... I hoped my 8GB 390 (with a decent OC too) would be up to the task, but ultra 4K is totally unobtainable, high/medium 4K looks depressingly mediocre, and even 1080P ultra has dips! How?!

Really hope this gets sorted soon, the power of this GPU should be enough to max the game out... I can run graphically modded Skyrim maxxed out in 4K with 60FPS and this can't be much more demanding!

I've settled for a weird ultra/high/medium 1440P upscaled setup for now which runs OK and looks half decent...

I've got a weird problem where my FPS limits to half my refresh rate so its completely capped at 35FPS

Its an AMD card so no Adaptive Sync, its capped at 70 FPS to match my refresh rate but FO4 limits to 35FPS regardless of whether that's on or off

I have changed ipresent to 0 which apparently removes the 60FPS cap but this does nothing

If I don't run in Windowed Bordless I get a limit of 25FPS!

What the fluff is going on? I read into this for ages last night but cant find a fix, tested two other games which don't have this issue so its not my setup
