Config Tool

Uber Reshade

The tool capped me at 60fps but it's fixed all the engine issues I was having.

I'm running the tool without having changed anything. The game isn't capped and I've got a bit of border on top and bottom. The game seems to display OK but the Steam pop ups are partially hidden due to bottom border?

Did you set the cap or did the config do it automatically?

Anyone know how to have more than one power grid/circuit on the same house? I have some lights inside a building that I want on all the time. These get power from pylons and conduits mounted outside on the roof. Now, I also want some spotlights that only come on via a switch or a timed switch, but they're drawing power from the conduits etc that power in the internal stuff. Is it powssible to isolate them from each other?

Also, perhaps it's not showing up yet due to my rank/perks, but is it possible to have come on at a certain time, then go off again at another? I'd love defenses/floodlights to be on at night only.

I have not seen any mention of it here so far, but you can buy power cores (and other items) with tokens you get from turning in overdue books. Costs 50 tokens to buy a power core, so not bad at all really.

Wondered what they were for. I've been selling them I think ha.

You need to edit the reshade .ini file and set border = 0 or 1 (which ever it isn't when you check)

I think it's under performance (vsync lock) enable that and you'll be good to go.

80 hours played and 11 settlements and had my first attack against one of them, couple gunners that tried to run over one of the settlements, one of them was a Legendary one, the turrets were making mincemeat of him and his friends though, I just mopped up after them. :D

Wasn't much of a drop from him though.
Only saw very briefly it was a Legendary Gunner there, remember I thought "off darn, this might end badly".. then when it was over had a hard time finding him and thought I might been mistaken, but as can be seen here I wasn't. So either he was shoot in pieces or Bethesda's game engine in making a mess of things again, I go with the "in pieces" part though, sounds better! :p

Has anyone that "retaken" Hangman's Alley noticed anything with the boundaries there, i.e. Settler's wont do assign tasks on one part of the assigned area ??
After I taken it back I moved the door and some of the fence next at the Guard Tower, making the assigned area bit bigger. I then moved the Tower slightly and once a settler arrived and I assigned it to them, they didn't go there untill I moved back the Tower. Same with food that I started planting down in the corner (towards the water front so to speak), had to put the plants inside the previous walled off area before the assigned Settler started working on them.

I've found that changing v-sync setting in the nvidia control panel to adaptive (half refresh) eliminates the terminal bug.

Which part of the menu is that in? Not sure if mine is any different with being G-SYNC but I cant see any option anywhere to select progressive?

Under manage 3d settings > Vsync I have ON / OFF / use the application 3D setting / ON (Smooth).

Look for the word 'adaptive'. :)

Edit : bugger...I see that was already mentioned in (the wu's) post. Sorry. :)

And there was me thinking you were trying to be funny :D

I think its not there because I have G-SYNC hardware

Have you tried this? I'm not saying it will definitely work, but I just dug it up in the hope it helps. Btw, there's also a video which explains a bit about it, though I can't link it due to swearing. Just type 'fallout 4 terminal bug' in your browser, & click on the video which is 4 mins 35 / 36 secs long (It'sAGundam = youtube user).

(Forum link removed due to swearing. :D). So.....

That's it, I'm giving up with this. A truly awful looking game for 2015. Even Ubisoft wouldn't attempt a release with textures that flat.

Yeh i said that also, people said it looked a lot better than skyrim, i think not, and cant believe people having problems running this game on max graphics with there 980ti, why ? could understand if game looked great, but textures flat like a old game.
