**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Reached what looks like a big decision point (after around 80 hours).

Trouble is I can't decide! I don't really like any of the factions enough to grant them ultimate victory, but equally I don't want to go to war with any of them and I can sense some ***** off factions will be the result of what I choose next...
 
I've just heard Piper say - "I really should study my lines". Just hit the 160hr mark, hadn't heard it previously. Hidden Easter egg possibly?

Probs not. Anne Hargreaves (I think thats her name), from one of the radio stations I stumbled across can be sent to any settlement and repeats that phrase endlessly - but then she was a radio actress....

Yep, just double checked and it was her after all. Ah well.
 
LOL Had my suit stolen

Just did the mission at the quarry and at the end Sully walked off with my suit. What a little tinker :-) I have been told I should remove the core - even in Sanctuary.

Depends. I just shut it when not using the armoury. It's button is linked in with the rest of the lighting in that area, not sure if it would have an affect on that.

Overlap them slightly when stacking them - so take one side of the pentagon and build it up to one level, then build up the other incoming side slightly higher (just so the depth of the wooden topping) and they should clip into/over each other.

When I get home tomorrow night/Monday morning (after being away from PC for 3.5 weeks) I can get a screenshot for you, if you'd like?

Take a look on YouTube, plenty of videos about the castle walls and repairing them.

Thanks. Used the TCL mode via the console. Got it set nicely now. Just need some inspiration for a good build now...
 
Is there anyway to improve your speech skills without increasing with your points? I though alcohol helped but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Also, what are the different colours about; I get red means you've got no chance in persuading/convincing, but there are also different shades of yellow :confused:

I presume this different shade of yellow you are talking about is orange ha


Yellow - Most chance
Orange - Medium chance
Red - Little chance
 
Reed doesn't mean no chance. You can still pass them.

Best thing is to get charisma skill to 5 then up it to 10 with clothes/arnour. Plenty of hats give 1cha, glasses give 1, and clothes can give you 1-3.

When the creation kit is release there will no doubt be a mod that removes the skill 'Chances' with just passes based on charisma.
 
Only been playing for a couple of days but just not feeling the love. I'm only lvl 5 so I know it's early doors but it's just not gripping me. Will have another bash tomorrow to see if it gets any better for me.
