Nope, which is why I play Maicon at lwb and zanetti/santon at rwb.
Risse was the best I had on the left until I picked up Maicon.

as said above - de ceglie is amzing, he is 6 foot too, which makes him extremely strong, coupled with his pace, unbeatable.

I just realised this, and have listed Lucio promptly. (edit: Shoulda quoted)

Silva and Chiellini will do a much better job, esp when they cost the same amount together as he does alone!

I'll check that Juve guy out. He's a bit expensive for not a very high rating... I might just stick with Chivu for now.

cant believe how many people go for the most expensive guy or the one with the higher ratings.

chiellini is a tank, headering, pace and defending.

lucio is probably stronger, but he lacks the pace of chiellini.

so they are even in my books, but for 4 times the price i cant justify the expenditure, neither would i buy a 50K player for backup, so im thinking IF Gamberini as backup for 20K? saves me 20-30K so when i have enough to spash 20K on a backup i will.

That'll give me 2 on the pitch and 1 cover.

ratings dont mean anything,

Menez is my best player, check out his rating. (79)

Cavani is my best striker - 84 and ive had Milito, UP etoo, etc who are 86.

UP Silva is the best defender in Serie A (84).

De Ceglie is the best LB in Serie A by a long shot.

too slow, i'd go with nesta over him for a cheap backup or normal gamberini or cordoba (he is 4 foot 2 though).

Another vote for De Ciglie, he was the best LB available when I had a Serie A team, much better than Riise, unless you want to use Molinaro who plays in the Bundesliga.

That's not enough, hence, he's too expensive. I wasn't disagreeing with you in that post.

Ok, so I got De Ceglie or whatever. 2.7k
Had to discard a few crappy Ligue 1 players to get him.

How can Chivu have ONE stat, that's barely better than De Ceglie's, but be rated 4 better than him? Weird.

Also, Sonny, my Argy team are 3-5-2, so need 3 CBs. I have the best 3
