Humm anyone play 5-3-2 with any success?

I dunno wether to get silva and replace Jurado, or replace soldado/fernando llorrente with agueros, for a Rossi Agueros partnership up front
 
I just got an 85 Aguero for 8k, viscous bidding war, but I think he ran out of tokens or something lol. Next cheapest I can see is 15k. Gonna try him up front with rossi though
 
Tried IF Benzema last night in an effort of a possible hybrid, I don't know what to think...

10 mins into his first match he gets injured, but scored a few goals, couple of nice headers, nice driven shot, but for the man he was standing in for (Milito) he feels so sluggish to respond, no sense of agility at all :( Will have to think long & hard about keeping him! :(
 
I've had some 'lessons' from my wife's 15 year old cousin. :p

He gave me some really valuable tips on playing Fifa in general and I'm actually starting to score and beat people comfortably. Even in games I get beat, I can dominate posession so I'm now trying to learn to make some better chances. I tend to knock through balls over to Cavani or Pazzini, leaving Hamsik free or put early crosses over which (if he's on) Gilardino happily nods in.

Got about 12k in coins and probably another couple of k on the trade pile. Seems a long slog to add an Eto'o (even the 84 one) and players like Maicon.

Often play Gilardino rather than Pazzini. He just 'works' with my style of play and seems to make a lot of space for Hamsik or Cavani. Even De Rossi gets forward and has a fairly decent shot on him.

Ah good I'm not so alone in being a newby at this lark then :)

Started last night (I'm not spending real money on this so it's pure coins). Twice. After selling all the players I didn't want, and dropping every coin I had on a pack after playing 1 tournament on single player, I then found out that each player only lasts a set number of games lol :)

Deleted that one after I couldn't field a team, and now need to not spend anything until I run out of enough players to play, then I can buy back in hehe.

So I'll give it another crack tonight. I suppose it's single player till you can get a reasonable silver team going? Then chance a few online?
