He gave me some really valuable tips on playing Fifa in general and I'm actually starting to score and beat people comfortably. Even in games I get beat, I can dominate posession so I'm now trying to learn to make some better chances. I tend to knock through balls over to Cavani or Pazzini, leaving Hamsik free or put early crosses over which (if he's on) Gilardino happily nods in.

Buy Santon for RB and De Cigile from Juventus for LB. They are amazing, super quick and very strong.

I've hovered over De Cigile for a long time, but I bought Capdevilla for my Spanish side, but in my Serie A formation. He's doing a good job - certainly not letting wingers bomb past like Chivu does! I'll try him though, he's cheap enough.

I'll look at Santon too, cheers. Currently dropping Silva to RB when Zanetti is knackered as I've no shortage of CBs.

Is Chiellini worth the money over Juan/Nesta/Samuel/Silva? I think I could do with Eto'o's pace or at least Ibra's stature to bolster my front 3 more.

Players last forever it's their contracts that run out. They don't play for free afterall ;)

This is my current squad, I originally used 4-2-2-2 but dont like it, I prefer this one on ultra attacking. I have loads of 5-3-2 player formation cards I havnt used yet, should be able to get 100 chem.

True true, it amounts to about the same thing when you've burned all your coins on rubbish & not got enough contract cards though! It came as a bit of a surprise to say the least when I was 4 players short of fielding a full team :)

Lesson learned, and I'll have another blast tonight.

Chiellini is a god, still in my team as the only none IF alongside the likes of UP Eto'o and Maicon, for the budget you are on you honestly cannot beat the combo of Nesta & Chiellini, I was told that, tried it and loved it, just give it a go, really :D they're awesome!

If I can snag him I will. I thought I'd get him for about 5k the other night, but had to leave it. Think he went for about 6.5 which I had, but wasn't around to snatch him.

Ignore the missing people, Maicon should be RB, Pastore CF and Lavezzi LCM, was thinking about moving lavezzi to RCM, getting IF Rossi on LCM, IF Ozil as CF, then Ronaldo & IF Benzema or another La Liga striker.

Cold also save a bit of money by moving out Lavezzi and getting Kaka out there on RCM...hmm

Oh and the EPL is rubbish for forwards so I bought Messi, chemistry still 100 so all good.

Also I prefer right footed LW's and left footed RW's
 
Today I have made a La Liga side from the dregs of my national teams. Looks good, only had to add 3 players to make it decent.

Also I've built a German national squad (with a few foreign Bundesliga players on the bench). Really happy with both of them, both in new formations for me, and still got 23k knocking around!
 
Going to make a second squad. German international. Now on normal matches on Fifa 11 Germany play a 4-3-2-1 with 2 CAM's but on UT it is 2 wingers. How bad is it playing 2 CAM's in wing positions?
 
Well, whole Serie A team sold (apart from Maicon and Etoo) 200k in the bank and another 100k from those 2 to come.

Go on holiday for two weeks tomorrow so thought I'd sell up now and maybe profit from cheaper prices when I get back :)
