i am not doing well - my team is all 80ish brazil players - i seem to be on a constant downward spiral with my little bit of spare gold...

e.g. contracts cost aprox 600g and give you 13 matches
then you need fitness
and injuries

each game is getting me around 300 - 500g

so i am loosing gold all the time

I personally can't find a better keeper than neuer/toty steklenberg. Possibly toty/if neuer, but god knows how much he costs.

IF Henry is dynamite, he is a marmite player though, you will either love him or hate him, due to his technique being completely unique, i sometimes pop him on to his favoured foot and shoot and he uses his other foot for some reason, i have found that in most 1 on 1 situations what you would do with any other striker, doesn't work with Henry, so i have to remember when im using him and do the opposite basically or try something different.

Pace - Incredible (everyone struggles to catch him if he runs past)
Long Shots - Incredible (I have scored some amazing shots from outside the box)
Finesse Shots - Poor (his technique is completely different to any other player i have used, if i figure it out his finesse shots may get better, but i now just place shots)
Placed Shots - Incredible (scores a lot of goals others wouldn't, his technique is unique)
Passing - Incredible (is probably more suited to a CAM role than striker, dont know of any strikers who can pass this good)
Crossing - Incredible (if you get him on the wing and just before you cross, slow down and take your time with the cross, its a goal every time, he places it right on Dzeko's forehead to get a power header)
Heading - Poor (can get bullied a lot, but he is 6'2, so if he does happen to get free in the box, he can header well, i have scored a couple of good headers with him)
Volleys - Out of this world (I have scored some screamers with volley shots from outside the box and slightly inside, he even did an overhead kick from a corner, or it may have been Anelka, they look alike)
Set Pieces - Very Good (dont bother looking at his set piece stats, they dont seem to matter tbh, I use him on corners and short free kicks, and he is amazing, very accurate, not enough power to take long free kicks so thats when Alves takes over)

you need 2 teams and rotate them, so they stay 99 fitness, look at me, i have 2 teams above, 22 players, the only problem arises if they are injured for more than 1 match then i have to buy a healing card.

you need more rare managers, rare managers increase contracts, even if you arent using them and are in your club, also dont buy non rare contract cards, they are not worth it, buy rare contract cards, for example when i put a rare contract on a player i get something like 40 games.

your best bet now would be to do the 300 coin gold player trick, buy players with 7 contracts that are gold, use them for the 7 matches, then discard for 300 coins, therefore your not losing any coins but making some.

after you get some coins together, start buying rare managers (bronze, silver or gold), i have like 50 managers in my club. then you can move onto building 2 decent teams.

i played someone the other day, Henry scored a hat trick within the first half, cant remember how long, but when the 3rd goal went in, the guy quit.

I sent him a message saying "Henry LOL".

I got a message back saying "Yeah, he looks amazing"

i have figured out how to use him effectively, and he can do a lot of great things, passing is unbelievable for a striker, coupled with his pace and shooting, i dont think, i could find anyone who is that well rounded at scoring and assisting, well definitely not for below 20K anyway.

Reason why he is so cheap is because he is MLS and French, any other league and his price would have been triple, any other league and Brazilian and his price would be 5 times what it is, complete bargain.

Whats a rare manager? I have Ancelloti....

You have 50 managers? I thought you can only use 1 manager at a time?

2 teams? Im struggling to win any games with my 80ish players if i go for the 300g 70ish players I am going to struggle even more.

I am sick of playing teams will all great players and they leave my players standing - just speed/power past my defence..

rare manager = shiny

you need to collect them all (go for the cheap ones first, bronze, silver, gold)

thats the way the game works, you need to grind it out, people dont like to as it takes so long, so they end up spending money on packs, this is what EA want, they want your money so they make the game incredibly hard.

I have not spent a single penny but it has taken me over 700 games to get where i am.

i have over 610 wins to something like 90 losses, a lot of those losses came about from starting off and changing teams/formation, etc. i also have over 100 online trophies.

i had to start off with 76, 77 rated players, if your good at the game, you can still beat much better teams.

tbh mate, i would do the 300 coin trick, until you have amassed enough shiny managers to make buying contracts worthwhile.

like i say, i have like 50 managers.
 
mate just polay offline tournaments. They are incfredibley easy, even the so called "legendary" ones. And check your chemistry and morale of your players. If morale is less than 80 they wont win anything.

some worthy of note, I won the lisbon cup for the first time yesterday. I think my team is complete bar a couple IF players like IF samba, TOTY kompany, IF young. Btw is there an IF anelka? If so I might try for him and then IF henry in the team, instead of TOTY nzogbia.

I like ferdinand, but he is slow, as in if a ball is placed over him, normally he doesnt catch it, its lead to a couple 1on1s. Anyone else?

Assume thats a question and yes they do - Ive got all the gold rare managers so get about 30% free contracts everytime I apply one. One of the first things I did once I could sustain a team. Each gold rare = 3% extra; silver rare = 2% extra and bronze rare = 1% extra.

Wow didn't know about the manager trick, I've bought a few packs and I'm starting to hold my own with my German team. Still haven't won the bronze basic trophy keep getting beat in the final by teams i can't match.
 
3 more people to sell, then starting over again, was getting annoyed with EPL, Rooney was a great CF but knackered by HT, Cole & Evra started to do my nut in with their "1,2,3 CHARGE" tactics and just couldn't get my head in the game with them!

Ronaldo, TOTY kompany & IF Young up for sale any takers? :)
