Bought 89 Nedved to try, always loved his card in previous FIFA’s. Completed Alaba too, had loads of fodder. So far he’s been excellent, great catch up speed and positioning, plus he can break into space with ease.

A NickRTFM video just popped up on my YouTube, him getting into elite division. He was gifted 3 wins in Div 1 by some guy called “flower delivery” who let him score and then quit straight away. Not gunna lie, I was slightly tilted. I need the free wins too.

Yeah same unfortunately! Tbh Champs rewards tend to be better, much better packs. Even the Elite 1 SB rewards are awful from what I remember from a few Fifa's ago (although boring game mode anyway).
To add to my previous posts about solid players etc - After using my new squad for 50+ games I would say that RuleBreakers Alaba is actually worth the coins. He's one of the few players you can make lengthy who actually go full turbo when you sprint, great on the ball too. I've moved him to CB now, he's a beast. LLorente is also a player I would recommend to anyone, he's outperformed RTTK Valverde in every facet for me, very consistent. Nedved is decent, worth the coins and he'll hold his price for most of the year but he does have slightly odd attacking positioning at time.
Anyone used Neymar this year? Is he a big upgrade over e.g. Dembele? I have the coins for him if so.

Fair play getting to Div 1! I'm one win away from getting to Div 4. Probably would be there now but I keep messing around with players and tactics. I like 4231 but don't like using using the meta which annoys me

Not at the moment, I don't use any player instructions on the 3 forward players, so they drift around a fair bit.
The one time you do notice the lack of space is if you come up against a very competent and aggressive opponent who presses excessively. It then can become harder to exploit space, so have to switch the ball across the pitch a lot. Midfield can definitely get a little congested but I play Kessie as my holding mid and then De Bruyne and LLorente as box to box mids, so usually you can squeeze a pass through somewhere.
The runs from the CF's are great in this formation so far.
Servers seem to be on fire for me today for FUT Champs, played 1 game and managed to win but the input lag was awful. Had a green connection with 8ms at the load screen, could tell my opponent was having similar issues from the odd touches his players would take etc.
Will have to leave them until later this evening or try again tomorrow, would rather not play them at all then deal with that sort of stuff.

I had good pack luck for the first 2 weeks but its just awful now. I opened a jumbo rare players pack yesterday and got 1x84 and the rest was 83 and below. I don't expect amazing players all the time but at least give me some fodder!

If it's in offline mode shouldn't have any issues at all mate, as it's designed to run on consoles. People have mentioned menu lag but not during games, when offline.
Man, so I really hit Fifa hard this week/weekend. I finished my 8 games in rivals in div 3, rank 3 in Champs and also did FUT qualifications and got rank 3. I even did SB and got Elite 1 (true pain) - All of that, less than 200k coins, no joke. Ridiculous man. Everything was a minimum discard value..
