Official FIFA 23 Thread

Div 1 makes me hate the game and want to claw my eyes out. It’s looking like just win 8 and play weekend league for me already. Every goal is some rebound, tackle that glitches back to the attacker or truvela.
 
Got into Div 1, it's as horrendous as I remember it in previous Fifa's... Every game is an unpleasant slog, there's so much luck involved in each result (that goes my way my fair share too).

EDIT: Lol genuinely hand on heart didn't see @Quinnaay had posted the exact same thing before me. :p

Quite boring at the moment, everyone has haaland, battering teams, but can't finish. One haaland long ball, score, rage quit. :cry:

Ah, his price is down loads ......might have to join the boring club..... :(

Yep, definitely. I only play FUT champs now, not going to bother with Div Rivals for a couple weeks, not worth the grind. Gameplay has at least been smooth this week, sure that will change for Champs as per usual. Game is better than some previous iterations but definitely starting to feel a little stale already.
 
I’m hating the game in its current state, another thing that’s starting to grind on me is how bad the chemistry system is. It’s taking the enjoyment of making new teams simply because of how difficult it is to fit good players in especially icons being rubbish.
 
I'm happy sitting in div 4, doing my weekly games, getting naff all rewards, play weekend league, get naff all rewards. COD/GT7 in between :)

You don't need to hit 33 chem on every squad though. 28 is the point I can tell the difference. 29 and above is fine, for me at least.
 
In other news hope you all did this card 25K, what bargain he looks now with his upgraded stats :eek:

Well that weekend league/fut champs is the end for me, no chance I'm playing this waste of time anymore. I can remember why I quit now. Went 14-0, entered last 6 games and for 4 of them I absolutely dominated. Hit the bar, hit the post, players kicked thin air, players randomly fell over etc. For those 4 games there wasn't a single decent chance my opponent had yet I managed to lose them, 2 on pens.

Shame, after packing Toure non-tradeable I wanted to continue but it's a **** game, it's genuinely bad, can't be bothered. It’s one of those “could be doing more with you time” moments. Don’t get me wrong, we could technically apply that to all video games but at least with other games you enjoy yourself. Fifa is just a slog, why bother..

I'm honestly a little annoyed at myself for buying the game at all. I've played enough Fifa to know what's coming, yet I did it anyway. Oh well. More the fool me. :p

Played a FUT Champs qualifier, went 4-1 down in the first half to some guy who was awful, just 4 identical goals, he then sat countering all the rest of the game. I pulled it back to 4-4 in the 2nd half then went ahead in ET. With literally the last kick of the game he scored an equaliser with adama traore no less after knocking my CB off the ball. I won it on penalties. I was utterly DRAINED. This game prioritises pure cheese over skill so bad.
