47 points in champs. I'm quite happy with that. Rewards though :-( TOTW pack best was wilson.
In my team with the coins i replaced Barella with his IF. Bonucci is good which was surprising, it is nice to be able to pass out. Like Japes i have Cordoba and him at the back. Meunier at RB is superb, Super quick, tall , good going forward and even better defensively. Alf Davies is a bit poor but lack of LBs in bundesligue.
 
My champions league started off in disaster using 4141, had to tweak a few things and managed to pull it back to 41 points or whatever is for TOTW pack.

4141 certainly doesn't play as well in champs as it does in division rivals. Ohh got nothing in packs :cry:

i used 4141 and it works well for me, i struggled to find the right striker having tried a tall target man to a small dribbling man to settling with Mane up top moving Dybala down to the left.
My last two games were really bizarre as i played someone and they quit when they conceeded so i went to the next game and played the exact same person, they quit at 2 nil down. I didn't think you could play the same person more than once.
 
I managed 50+ for the first time this season. I had to win the last 3 to get the next rank but the gameplay went crap and everyone is using constant pressure (ea need to sort that).

Decided not to open any of the packs yet as the TOTW is shocking.

I got my best-placed finish in WL for some time, years? No coincidence it was a terrible TOTW so no try-hards playing, I got the red Spurs Lad, which is probably the best I could ever hope for.

I had the opposite experience playing most of my games on Saturday. Full of try hards, I think that's my main problem I don't have the patience to play against people like that.
 
Hi guys,

Can you get your heads round the passing it's so crap it feels like they have released a beta, thoughts?

You can pass and it trickles in front of the player it's very frustrating
 
I had a good 3 hour session last night and I've come to the conclusion that (FUT) is better than it has been in previous years but feels almost too mechanical in how you score goals. I've played over 100 games and I think I've conceeded like 2 goals from outside the box. All other goals are some variation of a cutback or the usual perfect finish into a corner. Defence is random at times. Corners seem random. Players will just stop marking.

Still not a patch on the old Pro Evo days.
 
In the end if they’re trying to make it a sim it needs to be random, I’ve just learnt to live with the bad aspects of it and try and not take it so seriously.

Same. I used to be a bit of a rager back in the day. Now I just laugh. To be fair, I'm enjoying it for the most part, but then I get shot back down to earth with some Fifa bullpoo.
 
I managed to finally get a semi decent red pick in Theo Hernandez. Not the best but a lot better than anything else I've had this year.

I completed the palinha sbc and he is very good on next gen. Definitely better than kante, who I had been using previously. I've also used the world cup ji sung Park card this weekend and he was very good as a cm.
 
Is it a good idea to sell tradeable TOTW players or keep hold?

I got Diaby and he's going for around 20,000 coins

Also, is it just me or does playing with the World Cup players, especially England, feel absolutely awful? They all seem really slow to do anything!?!?
