Ide have no idea how to go thru a NA proxy. But most websites are giving out beta keys tomorrow if the sched doesnt change again...

Is this any easier to download and setup now? As I got a Beta key in July and never bothered setting it up because the downloader was ridiculously slow, even trying to use uTorrent proved useless. I'm still interested in trying it out as I'm actually looking for a new MMO to play at the moment and this looks good, I always wanted to play FFXI but never got into it as it had been out for years by the time I did try it.
I heard downloading it from FP helps a lot, but I havent done so yet as im not on my gaming rig.
I played FFXI since 2004 and recently stopped. And I miss it but it will be worth it soon =D
IF you still dont plan on using it, I'de happily use that Beta Key you have and I've been trying to get my hands on one since day 1 of applications. I'm not lucky =(

FP being FilePlanet? Can you get the full beta download from there? Any chance you have a link to it please?

Thanks, although I actually already have that setup file. It's the downloader/updater itself that was taking forever to download all of the game files, but there was a lot of people trying to download it at the time, I'm assuming thats probably lessened now so I'll give it another go.

Yeah, can try. You might get lucky and start downloading at a quiet time.

Still waiting on my beta key, applied once in the beginning and again more recently still nothing though, hopefully be able to pick one up soon - very eager to try this.
I've ran out of leves atm so not much to do, I can take some pictures of different ones in char creation if you want?

Any news on the open beta. Really curious about this but I don't want to pre order it without trying it out first...
They said near future about a week ago on twitter so could be anytime matey.
