preordered via gmg this afternoon and got my code there and then on the site

rembmer 20% off via their code on the front page of their website fm13 for £24 from gmg although you can shop about and get it for under £20 atm

This is sad, but I always hope Brentford have a storming start to the season (in real life) not necessarily for the benefit of the team... but to make sure we're a little bit better on FM!

Really? Can order the retail copy for £21, the digital download for less. Its never been more than a few pounds cheaper for any previous version.

Any recommendations on the cheapest place to buy a digital copy? Missed the GMG offer posted a page or two ago but it's still on £23 there, was going to purchase that but just checking theres nothing cheaper around before I do it

Haha - When I used to work 14 hours a day, I bought FM for two consecutive seasons just to see how good (read: bad) our squad was despite knowing that I wouldn't have time to play the game at all! What's Ramirez like?

This is driving me nuts - my internet connection at home is messed up. I'm having to reconnect to our network 4-5 times just to download a single percent!

Most expensive PC game I have ever paid for was CS:GO. The rest all I managed to get for cheap.

Normally I get FM as a birthday present (Birthday is mid-October) but this time I did not.

Haha! Ramirez is the best player (and highest paid) player at the club. I played one game then decided I can't be bothered till this is released properly (have to do a season with my new stadium at Burton first).

Haha - loyalty, nice. Was tempted to keep the Bath City project going, but consecutive busy weekends ahead of the new release means I think it may fall by the wayside.

90%. I know what's going to happen. Log on, check the squad, see Clayton Donaldson has something like 9 for finishing, get annoyed, promise myself I won't play it, play it until 7am and then try to go to work...

They named a 42k stadium after me

I promised a mate I would play till I got my new stadium (neither of us have ever gone that far with a team).

Your plan for Donaldson is pretty much what I did with Saints, had a look at everyone's ratings, been amazed most of the academy look quality/full of potential, then quit as its too new...

Yeah, I had the stadium named after me. Screenshot and sent to my dad straight away - bizarrely he was't as impressed as I was :confused:

Yup, Donaldson has 10 for finishing. hahaha, great.

HAHAHA! I wonder why...

I might buy some ties for different teams to manage this year, borrowed a red and white one for saints but I think I need to put more effort in to look the part this year (will do another Burton game I think).

Shame on Donaldson, could just edit it on release day...
