Nooo stick with them. Get them as far as you can. It's much more fun. I got Ayr into the SPFL and really started to do well. Ended up winning the Premiership and got into the CL. :D But it took years and years.

Around 240MB or so.

Only takes me 3 minutes to upload to an FTP like.

You could just log into SI's FTP and download it, it's just called "Stockport" in their save games if you want to give it a shot?

Ignore my teams inconsistent performance, an inability to beat bottom of the table but is able to one up Chelsea >.<

There was a game I killed Inter 5-1, then I only struggled to draw second round.
 
My game is also buggered, can't get past certain dates without a crash, used to holiday it to get past it but it won't work now.

SI have not helped at all, I have my own thread in the bugs forum.
 
It's done through Steam. Go into your library and right click the game. Properties/local files/verify integrity of game cache.

It will overwrite any corrupted game files. These files tend to generate crashes.

I can't download your save Martin, although I am using Firefox to do so. I can see it, but it wont download it. I don't use any FTP software.
 
Exactly the same repeatable error for me Martin I'm afraid. I had a look at the crash dump and it says it's an error T8. That doesn't mean anything to me though. I've done a spot of research. You could try the following if you haven't already.

There's a few people with the same problem on their forums, hopefully they'll sort it.

I started my Middlesbrough save, have to say I'm disappointed at their finances, Fede Cartabia who I use in my Stockport save, not only is he miles better with the patch (At 20 he's like better than what he was at 26 by a decent amount) but Boro can't afford him, on my Stockport save I got him as a free at 26 I think, he's been with me a while and was instrumental to my League 1 success and Championship performances, can't imagine what he'd be like in FM14 post winter patch with proper training for championship teams, same as Jeramie Boga)

Looks like the problem is deffo on SI's side, quite a few posts about it, they hope they're able to fix it without impacting our saves, or else I want me 520 hours back!
 
Yes, it definitely looks like an SI problem - maybe it's a incompatibility issue between the save game and the different patch upgrades. But I'm sure they will resolve it. Just keep your save safe.
 
I actually have done everything possible to fix my FM but it just isn't happening.

The answer I got is that it must be something on my system which doesn't like FM14. I disagree as I played the game for 160+ before these problems started.

I also uninstalled everything that could effect the game. Nothing worked.

Well, currently there's a few people with problems that mirror mine, they're able to reproduce the problem, so hopefully them fixing this will fix yours.
