Looks great, we need to start an official thread as the release date looms. F1 2010 isn't enough to find the thread though. Something like Codemasters Formula 1 2010 should do.

Can't wait either, the only problem is there's 3 racing games I want coming out in September, TDU2, WRC and this

Better start saving now!

Hahaha yep same here. Def getting F1 2010, would prefer trying demos of other 2. Mind, looking at the developers of the new WRC game, Milestone S.r.l. I'm not holding much hope for that. Last 3 racing games from Codemasters (DiRT, GRID and DiRT 2) are games I still play regularly, so hopefully this one will follow the trend!!!

Do want. So many awesome features but I still think they are holding back so they can make 2011. No pace car, no formation lap etc. Still, what is there looks awesome!

I have a question. Will there be a career mode where your car gets better or worse durring a course of a season will there be a option to make your own team like a lot of codemasters games.

I would like to play as the williams team or lotus and make them better if possible.

Im sure it mentions somewhere (early article/video) that the career mode does allow for cars to get better/worse over the season and year by year - which is a great addition as its going to add more of a challange to staying at the front.

really cant wait for this game :D

Yeah just watched the last diary thing, he said how depending on how hard you set the game it will allow you to choose differant teams.

So gonna go for the hardest setting start out at lotus maybe moving to williams and finshing at ferrari :) least i hope so. Plus i hope you can give feedback to your team of where you think the car needs inproving as a real drvier would.

I am really looking forward to this and i dont usally look forward to racing games :)

I've been waiting for this since it was announced back in 2008 or so and having watched only Developer Diary 5, I can't wait. Looks absolutely brilliant bar the slightly below par facial graphics for the rest of your team.

I also like the fact they've addressed the whole technical side of it - as Anthony Davidson states, as a driver you only have small tweaks to make, not spend time working out what range your gear ratios are supposed to be in for the given track.

I will not, no matter how good I am, ever drive for McLaren. Lewis Hamilton had better watch out if I'm at the back and seriously struggling...I might just have to do everyone else a favour. Oh this will be lovely to release my Ferrari-related stress.

quick question.when i go out and buy this game:D .When playing online, will it be the same in qualifying like it is on tv,where there is 3 sessions. Also how many laps can a online game have. And how many players. Also looking forward to this..

Yeah i noticed the lack of detail on the pit crew but i am guessing that was early footage and they still to finsh that off plus i assuming most of the footage was taken from consoles.

I dont think i will be playing this online though, i always get disheartend online when i drive my ass off and pull off a great lap only for the other people to go many seconds quicker then me. Plus if your racing and people ram u off the road and stuff it will spoil it.

Online games were said to be only a few laps primarily, so perhaps 1-5 like GRID. I can't really see a full race length online being practical as players wouldn't be able to join mid-way, and if crashed out would be waiting for an hour or so.

Personally I can't see myself playing the online much especially with the experience of playing GRID online. Pathetic racing tactics and style, crashing, blocking the track and driving in reverse are just some of the antics I've had to drive through.
